I find the use of the "Autofire" name interesting, given the discussions on Artfire's name over the years, and the interest Hasbro apparently once had in reissuing Artfire (as they did with Stepper). I wonder if we will see an Artfire-themed fire engine mold some day, or if the name "Autofire" will come into use here like "Ricochet" has. Of course this is all idle speculation. (Ricochet is a cool name, but it's slightly unfortunate, because "Stepper" has so much geeky appeal as a robot name. "Stepper! Servo! Actuator! Personally I would prefer a possible Hasbro release of/homage to Artfire be named "Hot Shot" for a multitude of reasons:
1) Name's similar to "Hot Spot", who is also a fire engine 2) "Hot" as in "fire engine", "Shot" as in "Targetmaster" 3) Precedence: Car Robots Artfire (the Spychanger) was named "Hot Shot" in RiD 4) Establishes the name "Hot Shot" in the G1-verse 5) Helps Hasbro to retain the trademark -------------------- Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
