Thanks, I thought it was definitely unique and worthy of translation.
The question is, why? it certainly is bizarre, although well written, in my opinion. -Hydra -------------------- |

I'll like a bit more information on "Master File". What exactly is it? Were there more of these? Is the title of the story itself actually "Headmasters Epilogue"?

Hi, it was a promotional booklet that members of the G1 TF Club in Japan had mailed to them. The "Master Files" were the names of the ones from Masterforce, but I also have ones from 2010, etc. They seem to have been made more or less all through G1. -Hydra -------------------- |

Are translations of the last two Beast Wars Reborn chapters in the works? The recent surge of Thirteen stuff is making me interested in just what Logos Prime's deal is.

Yeah, there wasn't much reaction to the second chapter, but i would like to do the third and fourth chapters.
It would be something "safe" to work on, being several years old and all. -Hydra -------------------- |

There were a lot of interesting suggestions for who he might be, but one of the things I wanted to do with this was to expand on ideas that were considered for Japanese Transformers, but ultimately never followed through with.
That's why there are guys like Rapido, who apparently were planned for the Japanese market. I thought it would be fun to look at what they might have been up to just prior to G2. Same concept with Chip Chase's cameo in chapter 1, as he was planned to appear in Headmasters. The Drone names are the word "fast" in European languages other than Spanish. Crap. I think I have to get him. Yeah, Rapido is always tempting! But having the US release... even an awesome story, character, and color can't convince me to want that piece of scrap mold again. No surprise there. You know, in the time it took you to find the previous thread so you could bitch about it you could have simply bumped the thread and noted that part 4 was out. Which would have reminded me to edit Part 4 into the first post and change the sub-title. Which I just did. But I guess complaining is more fun than being helpful. Which would have reminded me to edit Part 4 into the first post and change the sub-title. Which I just did. Now, wait a second. Nowhere in my post did I make a complaint. All I did was ask a simple question since the revival of this thread instead of that other one simply confused me. If I wanted to complain, I would have used much a ruder phrasing than the rather neutral one I used. No need to get bent over an honest inquiry. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-primal.gif)

I'm really quite enjoying the United EX stories. Sad that Hasbro never jumps on unique ideas like this.
I would also definitely read any translations for the BW Reborn story too. United EX: bringing bots and cons together and updating them. I may not buy the figures but i like the fiction! -------------------- ![]() Created by Smitty! |
