I was wondering if the toys would actually be on the shelves on June 2nd. My Target didn't put the Skywarp/Ultra Magnus 2-packs out anywhere near the street date. They were just sitting in the back room for close to 2 months. Wal-Mart hasn't been getting anything at all lately. The employees at Toys R Us buy up all the new stuff. I'm still wondering how it's all gonna play out in my area.

usually with something this big, the stores actually make an effort to have the stuff out when its suppoused to be...just look recently at Spiderman 3 stuff.

I was wondering if they were gonna go all out like they did for Star Wars 1-3 or take a more casual approach. Now we know TRU is going all out, I wonder what the other stores are planning to do. Target will probably have *some* of the stuff out in the morning but not all of it. K-Mart will probably have like 2 cases & that's it. And Wal-Mart? The Wal-Marts around here were kicking as during Cybertron but as soon as the Classics came out they just flat out started to suck. No Devastators, no Rumble or Ravage, they haven't been getting anything for the action figure aisle in months. It's gonna be really nice to see them forced to stock new Transformers for a change. Cuz they just wouldn't bother otherwise.

Thank you kindly, Dr. Fang. I would not be surprised if we have a few out-of-staters as well. We did have a family from New Jersey in 2004 and families from Alabama and Mississppi in 2005 & 2006.

That's good news! I expected just the Times Square TRU to do something like this, because lets face it, Transformers still are not as big as Star Wars. Glad to see I am wrong.

Junior, is it just your TRU that is doing this, or is it a nation wide thing?

The graphic and the event are my ideas and designs, not our national office. Of course other TRU stores could choose to do such an event. To date, I am the only one I know of so far. After 4 years of TF Fan Events, it would be hard not to do something for the movie.

This is excellent news, particularly for me. It'll be the day after I return from a week in the outback of Arkansas. Excellent.

Junior, is there any chance you'll be able to confirm which waves of figures the store will have in stock that night?

Since it is a short drive from where I live, I will be there most definitely.

I'm actually really excited for this. Hope I have some money to spend by then.

It is hard for me to say at this point, since we have yet to receive the product. I would imagine though that everything Hasbro has on their checklist will be available on June 2nd, barring any shipping issues.

We will be giving out the checklists that night, but you can get one now at www.Transformers.com.
