Eah time I do the laundry and find a lonely sock I say "Aww, you lost your friend didn't you?" and I gently fold it and place it in the drawer hoping it finds a new "friend." After awhile they make "friends" with the other abandoned socks and become a new mismatched couple. No one notices that they aren't the same. We're all just happy to see our socks have "friends" again. Give it a try, your socks can make new "friends" too. There used to be a bakery in Salem that made these cookies that were like shortbread filled with chocolate. They were awesome. Sadly, the bakery closed, so I no longer love Salem so much.
