http://e-hobby.co.jp/ehobby2010/

Pay special attention to the silhouette of Wreck-Gar on the front left. That's not his face! It has shades instead of separate eyes, so it's probably one of the other two better-rendered Junkion nobodies. (I don't have the Complete Ark, so I don't get to know which one is named which.)

So, yeah. Here's hoping Hasbro can crank out all of their extra tooled heads before Movie 3 product starts coming out, or this generic Junkion, potentially part of a super-expensive six-pack, will be the only game in town.

(I am not sure if it's actually a six-pack. Japanese-literate wife is busy.)

EDIT: Aha. Mr. Sorenson uploaded the Junkion page as one of the previews to the Complete Ark, so the guy I'm thinking of is Junkyard.

Awesome.

I mean we figured it would be one of them but confirmation is nice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif)

Are they doing a seeker? That appears to be a seeker mold next to Galvatron. Come on Sunstorm!!

It's amazing how much detail is hidden inside a shadowy photo, isn't it?

I'll nab the second Junkion if I like its colours better then the hasbro version ... but then again I'm hope'n for him and his mustached friend to be in a two pack... so I can have one ride the other out of the box.

Are they making a new head for Junkyard? Could this mean Hasbro will use it too?

Just like all the other toys, Junkyard's head would have been included with the toolings for Wreck-Gar. Hasbro will use it as long as they don't run out of time before next movie's toys, as Walky pointed out already.

Frankly, I would want both the Japanese and American versions of "Junkyard," if only because you can never have too many Junkions.

There's also the chance that Hasbro's Junkyard won't be in (at least typical) Junkion colors to avoid being too similar to Wreck-Gar, whereas I doubt an eHobby instance would be so constrained.

Yeah, there's the problem of the same Junkion motorcycle being released twice and in the same colors but jumbled. Hrn.

Junkyard could just have a different distribution of colors, and some more prominent than they are on Wreck-Gar. Maybe he could be in a different sub-line, and packaged in a different mode.

An e-Hobby six-pack including Galv, Cyc, and Scourge?

Kill my wallet now. It shouldn't linger in agony.

I'm still holding out some vague hope that the Movie (And I LIKE the movie toys) won't kill off anything not-movie-related this time; they're doing a pretty good job having a mix, with virtually all of the ancillary merchandise (RPMS, etc.) still maintaining the Movie theme and new movie-looking deluxes and Voyagers being out there.

Again, I don't say this out of disdain for the Movie look--I just like some darn variety on shelves.

I'm curious about this. The Junkion appears to be the only one with any remolding. E-Hobby likes to do new characters or wild repaints, and the rest of the characters limit themselves TO themselves in many ways (the arrangement also seems to suggest they'll stay mostly the same). Still though, we've seen some interesting new characters from some of these already, and certainly there's some neat color changes that could be done.

Personally, I'm hoping for a Killing Jar Cyclonus and an Orion Pax, in addition to the Junkion. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

I could see these all being more toy colored, especially Galvatron. It would be neat to finally get the grey scheme on that mold.

...still hope Hot Rod is finally released in magenta though.

Siebertron says these are 3-packs and "The paint applications of all these figures are based on Transformers Generations 1 animation."

Presumably that information comes from their source and not the image itself?

...yeah, I'm gonna wait for some independent confirmation here. Seibertron hasn't got the greatest track record, after all.

Two three-packs would be fine by me. I don't need another set of those Decepticons, and it cuts the price in half. Plus, hey, maybe I'll get a magenta Hot Rod out of it.
