As the release of the Special Edition of Dark of the Moon and the Ultimate Edition Transformers Trilogy nears, a few new videos have popped up online. MTV has a look at one of the DotM Behind-the-Scenes featurette's entitled "All the Toys, All the Time". I'd be tempted if I didn't already have the first two on DVD, with the transforming character cases, and didn't think this was one of those sets that will be irrelevant if another movie comes out.

Hey guys - I received my set the other day...very nice. Interesting difference though from the versions I already have:
In ROTF in particular, during the forest battle and Devastator formation, the aspect ratio does not jump up to IMAX level, like the individually sold one I own does. Kind of a shame really, because on blu-ray these sequences were always made even better and popped more by utilizing the pseudo-full-frame instead of the anamorphic widescreen format. -------------------- "I am stronger than you know."

Sounds like you got the Walmart exclusive edition of ROTF - that's the only version with the IMAX scenes.

I think you're right, but I don't think there's any extra footage, just an aspect ratio change.

They both add new stuff, but it's just supplementary. Grindor actually gets a few shots in in the forest battle, and we get a little bit more of Devastator's transformation.
