A friend at work showed me this site and I was amazed. You see pics from the time period, the people in their strange clothes, but always in black and white. They seem so different, but these, its like looking outside now (if you were in Russia I guess).

I'm stumped. I am trying to up the shared vram on my wife's laptop but I can't for the life of me figure out how. She's running Vista and I've looked up what I can on it and it looks like I have to go into the BIOS to change it. Well, guess what, the BIOS on this damn thing has like 3 menu and the only thing I can change is the date/time and the boot sequence. That's it. I work with computers everyday and this is the first time I've come across this. Anyone got any ideas?

After looking at the list of 100 top grossing films domestically of all time (RotF is up to 9th), a thought occurred to me. Sci-fi and fantasy films usually get a bad rap but if you look that the top 50 movies, you will find a total of 5 that would not fit in the sci-fi/fantasy realm. (1-Titanic, 13-Passion of the Christ, 18-Forest Gump, 36-Home Alone, 44-Jaws, and 50-The Hangover). Passion and Jaws are debatable at that. Its also debatable if some of the movies were actually "good" movies. I wonder if this is something that is a US thing or if other countries would show a similar trend?

Giant robot movie, indeed.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will score $112 million over the weekend, Paramount Pictures estimated today, bringing the sequel's overall take to a towering $201 million.

If projections hold, the five-day gross will go down as the second-largest in movie history behind only The Dark Knight, which sped to $203.8 million in the same time frame last summer.

It'll also neatly—and quickly—cover director Michael Bay's reputed $200 million production budget.

Revenge of the Fallen's Friday-Sunday performance gives Hollywood its first $100 million weekend winner of the year.
