Has anyone seen a MU Magneto from the most recent wave with decent face paint? I really want that figure, but so far, every one I have found looks like a KISS reject.

Nope, they're all terrible. You might be better off taking the new one and transplanting the head from the old two-pack one (and maybe the cape).
I've not tried it yet myself, but it seems possible at first glance. -------------------- |

I was hoping you wouldn't say something like that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-screamer.gif)

The paint they used for his uniform and X rub off at the slightest provocation. You can almost sneeze it off. Does anyone know when the Spider-Man Big Time/Future Foundation figure is coming out? I know it is part of wave two. I assume that it will be released sometime first quarter 2012?

FYI for anybody interested: I attempted the new Magneto body-Old Magneto head swap this evening.
Don't bother. The neck joints aren't even remotely compatible. It would be FAR too much of a pain to try to make it work. Looks like we're stuck with poor-wash-face Maggy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-screamer.gif) -------------------- |

I'm curious about this too, since my understanding is that somehow the Paper Bag Spidey is a variant of that figure, and I need that hard. The only MU figure I've ever bought is Deadpool, procured from HTS long ago, and I don't know much of anything about the line. I don't suppose variants are, like, easy to find, are they? |

I guess it depends on the case ratio? I dunno, I've never collected any toylines with variants. Transformers doesn't have them, Simpsons: WOS didn't have them, and for the brief time I collected Star Wars, they didn't have anything except the occasional packaging mistake.

Anybody still have Darkhawks around them? Tried to get one off Ebay but it came defective and I've never run across any locally.
