Well it looks like we're getting another Transformers Generations book from Million Publishing which will have an exclusive Masterforce Pretender story and an offer for an exclusive figure.

Can any of the CHUG toys fit into the original Pretender shells? Or what about Legends figures?
While it wouldn't interest me in the slightest, I could see them recycling Pretender shells. Maybe with new arms, that have slightly more articulation. But that might be expecting too much. -------------------- My FlickR folder...
And yes, I was too lazy to come up with a decent TF related forum name, and just *GASP* used my own. |

When it comes to Masterforce/Pretenders, Skullgrin/Dauros is probably the safest bet. Since he was skipped over for a United release.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen people fit Legends Starscream and Bumblebee inside their shells, but that would be a really bold choice for an exclusive, and obviously neither of them were actually Pretenders in Masterforce anyway…

I was just thinking since Skullgrin has been shunned by Takara Tomy for much longer, they have to have a reason behind not wanting to make him themselves. And therefore there may be more of an impetus for Million Publishing to offer him. Black Shadow, on the other hand, still has a bit of time left before the same conclusion can be drawn for him. My guess would be Dauros or Black Shadow, but I'd naturally hope for something that no one has yet at all, rather than something that was a Hasbro toy that Japanese fans could have easily imported if they wanted to.
