But fer reals... black Prime repaints. Namely Alternators Nemesis Prime. That thing was not only intensely bland but the mold sucks a ton of ass as well. I have no idea why everyone went ape nuts over that damn thing.

Well, I myself don't have it, but I'd guess that it being the first G1 Evil Prime may have been attractive.

I agree, if you mean the G1 cartoon Soundwave. Dull and predictable to the max.

The transformation of the Seekers. Especially the coneheads, and especially the cartoon model of the coneheads (wings down). When your robot mode looks almost exactly like your altmode stood on end but with joints in it, even Gobots will laugh.

Impactor. About as much character and design as a brick.

Emirate Xaaron. Likewise.

And more generically:
Any tool or weapon which permanently replaces a hand (ie cannot be switched out for a normal hand).

The Seekers, specifically Skywarp and Thundercracker.
Why do people need every single Starscream figure repainted into those two?
I thought Acid Storm was a great break from the norm, but as usual many people moaned about it.

I'd counter this by saying, why does it always have to be Starscream first, and maybe Skywarp if you're lucky, and Thundercracker if you're lucky or rich?

Thundercracker is a much more interesting character; they gave Energon Demolishor his personality and it made him the most likable bot in the entire series. Starscream just destroys the Decepticons' credibility as a fighting unit, particularly in recent series where the cast of Decepticon characters is very limited and the schism he ultimately creates with his treachery reduces them to a pair of "factions" that wouldn't fill a four-door space cruiser.

Skywarp has a far better color scheme, especially for a Decepticon. Now that Starscream so rarely has any blue thanks to the Armada version, he's hardly distinguishable from Megatron in his proper colors since he's almost always some kind of jet now too.

The Skywarp colors would have looked good on the movie mold, especially with the demonic look of that G1-ish head.

I'm sure that if Soundwave's Autoscout drone (from "A Prime Problem") was a "She", someone would've been screaming bloody murder.

Movie Ironhide. I like the character fine, I just really dilike the toy, yet everyone bangs on about it as if it was the best release ever. It's too skinny! Falls apart easily too...

I find the repeat of the seeker repaints a little dull as well. Acid Storm is more interesting because he's at least slightly more original.

We've had the minibot set, most of which was arbitrary at best(Bugbite was already yellow, either change the colors or lose the head, I geuss), one Botcon toy(again, a white Bugbite), and Fracture, which so far, is the only mass-release one and the only one to resemble the character.

To be fair, the GoBots had destroyed most of their planet. And they had annoying voices... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

(And just to put myself in the group of people I'm annoyed by, I think Cybertron Ransack makes a pretty decent Scooter!)

I loathe Armada Blurr. The love that mold gets is beyond me.

Character-wise, also the original three Seekers. Never was into Starscream's repeated cycle of failure, Thundercracker is ridiculous emo fan bait, and Skywarp is an idiot who happens to have a dark color scheme and can teleport, which apparently makes him cool.
