Really cool stuff, I'm just trying to remember where they are mentioned (aside from the Turbofox). Thanks. I forget most of the time too. Which is why the wiki is a godsend. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) -ZacWilliam, probably would have remembered maybe a quarter of all the Cybertronian critters there are without it for reference. At best. Things like the Lilith would have totally escaped me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

These are all fantastic, Zac, I really love what I'm seeing here, both the animals and the worldbuilding you've been doing. =D
But I do have one nitpick, the Turbofox lacks any sort of grasper, like a jaw or some more advanced claws, because so far, I dun really see how it can form a den. But aside from that I really like how you're handling the animals. Really cool stuff, I'm just trying to remember where they are mentioned (aside from the Turbofox). I dunno, Cybertron's Cybercats are probably what Dreamwave's Ravage and IDW's Steeljaw turn into. I forgot all about that Blaster cover, it's cool how they look about as different as real Panthers and Lions, but share similarity's. I had started my own Cybertron beastiary a couple of years ago, though so far, I've only done the Turbo Fox and Petrorabbit. You definitely went in a different direction than I did. I like your Turbofox, I could also see ZacWilliam's being the Cybertron form and yours more like a Earth mode for a Cassette, like Steeljaw. Actually, with mine, I have it transforming into a high-speed Cybertronian wheeled mode. If you notice, it has a large front wheel in the chest and two smaller wheels in the hips. |

This is just for Caboose!, who brought to light an accidental oversight in our original Turbofox page. It turns out the sketch illustrating and explaining some of the fox's den building behaviors was missplaced by one of those tricky mini-spies.
(IMG:http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/4184/fox5web.gif) -ZacWilliam, yes they position themselves with their little landing legs and then weld their dens together with their butts, you got a problem with that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif) Expect a new full page (hint "quack" and "cluck") either later tonight or tomarrow. Duck! No really: Duck! And Chicken!
These were some silly names, but I did my best to make them cool. I really enjoyed the world-building I got to do with this one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) The main drawing is a little more processed than I usually prefer but I was trying to get a little more of an old "whaling illustration" feel given the semi-aquatic subject. (IMG:http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/2576/duckweb.gif) -ZacWilliam: Misses the fonts on his old laptop, though the new one is superior in all other ways. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

Whenever you make a new post in this delightful thread, it really makes my day. I like the rotating paddles for the duck's aquatic mode. The scrimshaw effect to your illustrations is definitely one of their charms, please don't deviate too much from this style. Looking forward to your next installment!

Heh, nice reference to the Robo-chickens being on velocitron. I can certainly see them flocking to clear the roads of dust.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) I'm thrilled folks are liking these, cause I'm enjoying thinking them up and drawing them a lot. Getting to work in little bits like the barrel thing and the Velocitron nod made this one really fun to do. My biggest problem sometimes is editting all the text/backstory ideas i get down so they fit the page and don't overwhelm the drawings too much. -ZacWilliam, lost a bit about Robo-chickens running around headless this time, but happy with how it came out anyway. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

lost a bit about Robo-chickens running around headless this time Well, that makes sense. As the robo-chickens bend over at the edge of roads to hoover up dust, sand, bearings and such, they have an unfortunate tendency to be beheaded by the wheels of passing vehicular transformers. As their sparklet (the religious transformer community has spent many vorns arguing over whether anibots have full fledged sparks or not) is contained in their body, they can still function, although without the sensors in their head, or the vacuuming mothparts, the Robo-chickens are both aimless, and purposeless. |

I don't care what official media may state, this stuff is as good as canon in my book.

I'd love to have a show set on pre-war Cybertron just so we could get this type of world building.

And we're back! Originally I planned to do the "Guinea Pig-a-tron" this time with the Robotopossum as a small corner feature but I ended up with a page worth of possum and no room for the chubby little test subjects. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) They'll have to wait till next time I guess.
(IMG:http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/7531/possweb.gif) -ZacWilliam, pictures the drones beign prime Turbo-fox food, and call me a mudflap if you want but, mmmm... roast robotopossum. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?
