Is it me, or was that one of the most "damaging" energy blasts in Prime so far?. I mean, like it or lump it, all the guns in this show seem to be set to "Imperial Guard". Regardless, looking forward to the episode (even though I know it'll end up back at Status Quo-ville, the trips out are nice).

Is this the first time Starscream has used that arm cannon?

No he's used a few times now, each time he does it seems strange to me due to the missiles on his arms that he's been known to use as well.

Since it paralyzed him, I assume it's his null ray.

Like Pennpenn said, though, it looked a hell of a lot more impressive than the usual blasters. Sort of wish everyone was using null rays, now. (It's the kind of visual you'd expect from an ordinary energy blast hitting a personal energy shield like the ones briefly referred to in the first movie. Not a lot of physical damage, but the recipient is weakened from the exertion.) Wishes and unicorns, I suppose.

Well, wasn't expecting a Fuzor namedrop in this show of all places. Along with a reference to an old Exxon slogan "Put a tiger in [your] tank!" -------------------- ***Signature removed by Staff due to size restrictions. Please keep to 500X200 images and text included.***

Fuzor reference, Hammer of Solus Prime, and possibly the Skyboom Sheild(kind of hope not considering what happened to it)? They really slathered on the honey with this episode, didn't they?
edit: Oh yeah, they also name-dropped Fort Max. This post has been edited by Silent_Magnus: Mar 17 2012, 08:08 PM -------------------- |

Bantor. A groggy Ratchet babbled about how he was just a mandril "before I put a tiger in his tank!"

What was it that Megatron said about HIGHLIGHT to view:
Solus Prime's Hammer near the end there about why it didn't work? My younger bro called in the middle of that scene. -------------------- |

HIGHLIGHT to view: It needs the power of a Prime to work as intended. So for now they'll just add it to their tool collection, and hopefully keep it as far away from Optimus as possible. -------------------- |

Wooooooooo. There's obscure. There's uber obscure. Then there's THAT. -ZacWilliam, I don't think anyone would have guessed that was coming in a MILLION years. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

I was not expecting references this obscure, but it sure beats watching the wiki awkwardly stretch the limits of what's worthy of citing as a reference almost every episode.

You can tell that the writers are fans when they start name-dropping non-show Beast Wars toys.
So this was a pretty satisfying conclusion to the story. Solus's hammer will likely show up again later in the season. I'm glad it didn't end up in the Autobots' forgotten arsenal. Starscream's story has a new twist. Things are pretty much back to ststus quo for the Autobots. Ratchet got a bit of his self-respect back. I wonder if the term "Action Master" could be worked into the script in a natural way. -------------------- I have signatures disabled because they suck.
