HIGHLIGHT to view:
People think events that happened after Darkness Rising are going to play a significant role in the season finale Lol -------------------- Being part of any fandom is fundamentally embarassing.

Blagh! Get this on Youtube already! Not too fussed if I'm asking for that even before the proper broadcast time!

Blagh! Get this on Youtube already! Not too fussed if I'm asking for that even before the proper broadcast time! It was, for a short time. It was pretty poor quality (being recorded on a camera pointed at a TV) but watchable if you turned the volume up. It seems to be gone now, however. Honestly, HIGHLIGHT to view: It was pretty boring. -------------------- ![]() |

Aw, man!
-------------------- Don't fail to see Nyarlathotep if he comes to Providence. He is horrible — horrible beyond anything you can imagine — but wonderful. He haunts one for hours afterward. I am still shuddering at what he showed. |

I liked the mood at the end of the episode, absent all music except the ominous thumping.
Megatron wasted no time acting on his wounded pride, eh? I love this show. |

And that brings my current 'oh, btw' count to 5. Whoever heard of a practically self-contained season finale?
Well, I can't say it's poorly done, and it's finally giving the show a decent sense of universe-building, but no foreshadowing for it whatsoever? It's just odd. This post has been edited by Sprocket: Oct 8 2011, 08:24 PM -------------------- Being part of any fandom is fundamentally embarassing.

This episode was obviously the second act of a story.
Not much in the episode for someone who's really into the lore like last last time, but we did get the first mention of the Matrix in the show. A lot of cool fights though. edit: Oh yeah, I did have one major issue with this episode. I can't quite remember. Is there a reason Megatron doesn't remember the autobots' base from when he was in Bee's head? This post has been edited by Silent_Magnus: Oct 8 2011, 08:58 PM -------------------- |

I did like how they made a specific call back to Jacks confrontation with Megs in Rock Bottom. But obviously, this one was mostly setup for round 3. -------------------- |

Yeah, they dropped a bunch of continuity between that scene and the one before it(with the ground bridge references), but somehow missed that. -------------------- |

It was kinda boring, maybe it'll be better watching One Shall Fall and all 3 Rise parts as a movie.
But I thought Megatron was awesome in it, I was disappointed he didn't make any remark at Miko screaming at him. -------------------- |

Also there is a real reason why the matrix could defeat Unicron in Prime besides being a MacGuffin (the only thing is, it's too bad it wasn't brought up earlier in the season - there was no reason to). I did like how Jack thought they would have to hunt it down like the other devices or artifacts they've encountered this season.
