So after trying out a few classes with the starter edition I caved and bought the Cataclysm upgrade. I currently have a Worgen druid up to level 25. just questing about and learning how not to be a total noob at this point. In the back of my head I think I can hear productivity and my life crying out in pain.

Life?? What is this life thing that you speak of?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

Just don't let the trolls and elitist pricks discourage you from playing. We all made a lot of mistakes when we started out.

I am not so happy with the windwalker changes as of late. Energy use was increased and they took away the faster Chi generation so you end up constantly waiting for energy to jab to get the Chi necessary for anything else.

I have a level 31 Windwalker and I am having a hard time killing stuff at my level.

at least they hotfixed jab so it was giving 2 chi again rather than the 1. but it does seem it needs a few more touch ups

At present Priests are really kinda screwy on the Beta. They need a lot more work done to them. Shadow got some stuff so it is slightly better then the healing specs, but atm Disc is in pretty sorry shape. Admittedly that will change as things progress, Priests just are not as far along in development as some classes like Druids are. I remember previous Betas had Druids, especially the Balance spec, being one of the last things worked on.

Tanks are in a similar position right now. DK's are in really good shape, and arguably overpowered, while the other tanks really need work. Brewmasters can't even properly tank raids right now, and their lack of a way to deal with magic damage is pretty painful.

So, I got my warlock to 85, thus making 8, and now all but druid and priest.

Now what? (Other than getting a druid and/or priest up, I mean.)

It is a bit buggy sometimes requiring you to relog when your mounts spontaneously disappear. Overall I love this change.. makes mount collecting a lot easier to deal with.

So how does that handle class and/or profession specific mounts? Are they not shared, shared but not usable, or can I have a hunter on a dreadsteed?

Apparently people have been able to use class specific mounts but I think they will change that next build. and with profession mounts im hearing 2 different reports. some are saying you need the tradeskill lvl to use them and others not having that problem.

its probably a bug and you will need the tradeskill lvl required to use said mount

Also the Motorbikes really suit the Panda's for some reason

Nice to see it is making the release and not a patch. I'm guessing the main issue Blizzard was having with it were the class specific and faction specific mounts, which as of the current build do seem to be broken. I'm sure that will be fixed in a future build or the feature would not have popped up anyway.

the best feature of this new build though, is that Moonkin form can use mounts! I so hope this does not change, since before this build, Balance druids using Glyph of Stars could use mounts in their Astral form, AKA I want to look pretty while playing a Balance Druid, which made the glyph pretty much necessary for Battlegrounds. That fixes it. The only mount that causes issues is the chopper, mainly cause the ogre skeleton can not assume that position.

If Moonkins do loose this, hopefully so would people using Glyph of Stars as well.

That's pretty much what they do. I was actually wrong, the goblin big-wheels also cause the same issue. The main problem is the ogre skeleton doesn't have a set position for reclining. That being said, it would be an easy fix to give them it.

Kinda weird, Nagrand server at least stayed up a good 50 minutes after it was scheduled to come down. I mean, not complaining, meant I got some dalies done, but still odd.
