Here's a closeup of the Trigun figures. I will try to get one of Meryl (Not Pictured) ASAP, but all the ones I took of her came out blurry.
the Wolfwood is a pretty nice variation, that not many know of (Actually, I'm the one who discovered the variant) he doesn't have the cross around his neck. which is strange, because that means there's two different torso molds. Because the cross is molded into the body. Wolfwood's always been a strange duck in my collection, first with the missing cross variant thing, second, I ordered him online, and he arrived on September 11, 2001, and finally, when I was moving, his hand (the one holding the cross in the picture) broke off, and I had to repair it with a piece of wire. (It's still removable, and functions just as it did, only stronger) (IMG:http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/alvatron/100_0803.jpg) (IMG:http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/alvatron/100_0805.jpg) I'll take 'em all down sometime this week, and get individual shots of 'em all, so you can see all their accessories, and things. sweet, now i regret not buying these guys when i had the chance. I own like 3/18 of the trigun dvd's and the guy i bought the third one off of was going to sell me the wolfwood, the Vash, Vashe's brother, and the guy with the gun for hands you have (cant think of there names now) and i turned him down.
That is creepy how his cross holding hand broke and arrived on 9/11 not to mention his face looks like its pure evil. ITS POSSESED!!! And is the guy with guns on his hands a different color variant or does he look red from bad lighting or something. -------------------- |

There were two versions of Monev, there was a clear Glow in the Dark version, and a maroon version.
I have the Maroon version, any color discrepancy would be due to lighting. Vash's brother?, I didn't know they had a figure of him. Unless it's been recently released. I know that a some company picked up the license, and is doing Knives, but I don't know if its out or not. I know there was a prototype of Legato, but I don't know when (or if) he'll ever be released. I also know they did a character named "Gazelle, the Peacemaker" but I don't know who he is. Millie is supposed to get released at some point. Trigun is one of my favorite Animes, though I don't have all the discs either (I own 3 or 4), I'm also a fan of Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop. I do have a rockin' Trigun Soundtrack though. I've even got a necklace of the Cross Punisher. it's hella tight. I'd LOVE to get a pair of Vash's sunglasses. I need to complete my Manga collection for Cowboy Bebop, and then get all the Trigun volumes. if I can find time, tomorrow, I'm gonna get my Gundams out, and take pics. and I haven't even scratched the surface on my Superhero toys. Here's Meryl, whos gimmick is that she's got thirty derringers in a harness under her cape. every single one of which is removable. (IMG:http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/alvatron/100_0809.jpg) (IMG:http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/alvatron/100_0811.jpg) and my Gundam MSIA Collection First, the Gundams themselves (I'm a UC Fan) (IMG:http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/alvatron/100_0808.jpg) and next the Zeon forces (Which greatly outnumber the Gundams) (IMG:http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/alvatron/100_0807.jpg) This post has been edited by Alvatron!: Jan 31 2007, 07:48 AM |

Ah, then it just might be my computer screen cause Monev comes off as a dark shiney red instead of a maroon. And the guy said he had Knives, i never saw the figure tho, it probably was a custom job since this was about a year ago. Millie looks cool its awesome how they made all the darengers removeable, but tell me that isnt a pain in the arse to find if you lose one of them. And i think gazelle, the peacemaker is either that guy who had the sniper rifle with the like 10 foot barrell, or that chick that had that eye that made it seem like she was invisiable, As you can probably tell Trigun is also one of my favorites, right up there wiht Hellsing, FMA, and Excel Saga. If you really really want the glasses this place has them for sale for 180 bucks. -------------------- |

Gazelle is actually an all new character.
the guy with the sniper rifle (with the long barrel) was Caine the Longshot. the girl with one eye is Dominique the Cyclops. Meryl comes with SEVERAL spare derringers (four or five extras) for just such a case. if you lose one, she comes with spares. This post has been edited by Alvatron!: Jan 31 2007, 06:13 PM |

Great action figure collection! Lucky you were able to get so much of the neo MOTU stuff. I thought those dudes looked really sharp, but only managed to find scattered figures here and there. (Ironically, I waited so long on He-Man because there were always so many variants out there that I actually MISSED the chance to get him. All I have is Prince Adam. Keh keh keh...I kinda like it that way, though. Tickles my funny bone. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) 'Specially since I have two Skeletors.) I gotta get out my MSIA Gundams and sort their many accessories soon. I go to Japantown and drool over that Fix Figuration stuff, then smack myself on the head and say, "Fool, get the Gundams you have in working order first!" ^_^
I'm loving Revotech Patlabor. Patlabor's one of my all-time favorite shows, but the lack of action figure merchandise in comparison to Gundam always irked me. I have the Type-Zero and Alphonse, but haven't had a chance to seek out the Gryphon yet. Also wanna find Revotech Revy from Black Lagoon (See my avatar) so she can unload several metric tons of whoop-ass on my other action figures. With MOTU, some of 'em were hard finds, fortunately, at the time I was collecting, I had a network of collectors pointing me in the right directions, and I managed to find most of what I wanted with little fuss.
there's still a number of 'em I want, and I wish the line had continued (I do not collect the mini statues, because I'm a toy fan, and don't want things so easily broken in my collection, especially considering how easy those guys fall over!) I still need King Hiss, and She-Ra. Fortunately She-Ra wasn't that hard to get......they overproduced her anticipating a massive demand, that just never came.....because the line was winding down. now, if it had been HORDAK, I'm sure I'd have to trade an arm and a leg for it......just look at how hard the mini statue is to find. (I passed on TWO of 'em when they first came out.......it's not that I didn't like it, it's that I ain't gonna settle for a statue, when it's Mattel's fault there aren't any more toys.) Next up will be my Prop Replicas.
as soon as I find 'em all.....heh. some nice stuff there, and several projects that are underway. not the least of which is my Jack Sparrow costume, which is likely a multi-year undertaking in and of itself. |
