Shockwave is up for preorder

http://www.allspark.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=2014619

$160. Ouch

(Mods might wanna move this over to BOTtalk)

...why does this link to the Bromance thread? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-depth.gif)

...beats me. It was a link to the product listing before it got moved. o.O

I haven't even looked at that thread.

Do you and Shockwave have a rad bromance?

Yeah, that 160 price tag isn't making me want this very much...it looks great and awesome, maybe if the price goes down. The fact that it's not a train also lowers my want for it.

Call me when Insecticons and Bumblebee happen.

But he wasn't a train in the comic.

I know that, therefore his design interests me less than the ones that are trains.

...the other ones that were trains in the comic, and therefore should be trains?

I think we're all failing to see why you're suprised Shockwave is an Ironclad, like his design in the comic was. Just like all the other HoS toys have been based on their comic designs.

You're misreading him. There's no surprise. He's saying that he prefers trains, so if Shockwave were a train, he'd buy him. But since he's not a train, then there's no compulson to do so.

My extreme need for a HoS Shockwave has been quite diminished at the news of the release of WFC Shocky - especially after I have seen the price. So I'm willing to wait until I can snag one for a better price someday on Ebay. 150$ plus about 30-40$ shipping is tough for a Leader toy.

Yeah, that price has caused me to have to bow out, especially in light of the deluxe Shockwave we are getting.

Accurate's the word you're looking for (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif) .

Yeah, it's totally bizarre looking, but completely in line with that Da Vinci/Steampunk aesthetic that Hearts of Steel generally exemplified.

I never actually read or looked too much into Hearts of Steel, so I guess I incorrectly expected bi-planes of some sort.

They're tri-planes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif) .

But yeah, it's accurate to the original design:

Because of his Matrix-hilted sword, some people are speculating Prima. And I can kinda see it as a more G1-styled version of the character, as opposed to the heavy movie/Prime-styled version that we have now.

If it weren't for the swords, though, I would've said Machine Wars Starscream personally.

I wonder what the story is with Hexatron's new swords there. He was originally shown off with the Drift-style swords, like what Seraph has in his right hand, and on his back.
