Hrm... Those don't look like Skrulls...

I've heard they're
HIGHLIGHT to view:
Chitauri, the Ultimate universe Skrulls

I'm guessing the aliens are a more human-like version of the shape changing aliens from the first volume of The Ultimates (which has influenced the Marvel films quite a bit).

Uh, those were
HIGHLIGHT to view:
A terrorist faction of Skrulls called the Chitauri.

Why? He's an alien, so why can't get team up with other aliens?

1. He's a "god" from one of the 9 "realms"... trapped on earth.
2. common sense.

1. He's also an alien from the planetoid Asgard, whom primitive Earth cultures worshiped as a god due to his people's technology level being advanced enough to be considered magic. Loki is also someone who knows ways of getting around the universe without using the Bifrost.
2. Common Sense dictates that Loki would trick or otherwise manipulate others into aiding him. There's a whole universe of stuff out there.

Hulk just... doesn't look right. Kinda to CGI-ish. Hope he gets some post-production work.

And I wish Hawkeye would have at least some purple in his costume. Or a helmet...

But otherwise, really looking forward to this. And I hope there is an awesome story to go with these awesome action scenes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

There are some Lego sets about to come out with figures called "lokis for soldiers". I saw it on Facebook, but I'm on my phone and don't know how to post the link. They don't look like anything in particular to me. I honestly thought they looked like Atlanteans.

Here's the two sets with aliens in them
LEGO Super Heroes Quinjet Aerial Battle
LEGO Super Heroes Captain America's Avenging Cycle

Here's the other two that don't have any alien minifigures.
LEGO Super Heroes Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout
LEGO Super Heroes Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape

I'm a bit behind but what are the five other films that lead in to this?

Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America.

Wouldn't it be more realistic to say:

Captain America
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Thor
The Incredible Hulk

Or does The Incredible Hulk take place between Iron Man and IM2?

I'm not sure why you guys are changing the order seeing as the order of release makes the most sense and, aside from WW2 Cap, are in cronological order. The stings and bonus short films on the blu-rays backs this up as well.

Eh, does Incredible Hulk coming before Iron Man 2 really make sense, given Hulk ends significantly after Iron Man 2? By order of release compared to when they take place they would go

Iron Man: May 2008 (Takes place six months before the "big week")
Incredible Hulk: June 2008 (Starts like 18 or 19 days before the "big week," with campus fight during the big week, and the Harlem fight five days later (IIRC), with the last shot of Banner like 40 days later.)
Iron Man 2: May 2010 (Takes place during the "big week", the the new report regarding the campus fight in Thor playing in Fury's office at the end.)
Thor: May 2011 (Also takes place during the big week, with the few days of Earth stuff taking place around Iron Man 2 (Thor's and is Hammer falls the night of the Hammeroid fight, I think: same time Coulson is kicking ass at a gas station)
Captain America: July 2011 (Takes place mostly during WW2, with the opening and close being at an undisclosed time in the future. The current tie in comic "Fury's Big Week" lends me to believe it takes place after the other movies)

Personally, I go more by theme and ongoing plot threads like SHIELD, the Stark Family, the Tesseract and the Super Soldier project.

Captain America: This goes first, because it starts EVERYTHING. The SSR is the proto-SHIELD (Fury even says so in a deleted scene), we see Howard Stark here, we get all the backstory on the cube, and we establish the Super Soldier project. Undeniably this goes first IMO.
Iron Man: In addition to being six months before the "big week," this movie also establishes the beginning of the Avenger initiative. Plus it wouldn't make sense to have this after Iron Man 2 or Hulk. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)
Iron Man 2: It's really a continuation of the first movie. I put it before Hulk because Stark becoming the consultant in IM2 ties into the very end of Hulk. Also it's nice to have this here as it brings the Tesseract back to mind when Stark is reading his father's journal
Incredible Hulk: I choose to put this before Thor mainly because of elements within Thor. It's also a nice capstone to the Tony Stark storyline.
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer: Makes more sense to watch this one right before Thor, rather than before Incredible Hulk.
Thor: Thor does two important things: firstly it establishes Loki, who will be the primary threat in the Avengers, so the Avengers is kind of a direct continuation of the Thor storyline. More importantly, it brings the Tesseract back into focus. IMO, this is the best movie to end the five on.
The Consultant: There's really no good place to put this since Coulson was busy during Thor. You could transpose Hulk and Thor so this makes more sense, but I prefer how the thematic stings go.

In order to have a smooth continuity run, you'd have to split Hulk into like four movies, and Cap into 2. Which I may actually do someday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

Captain America WW2 stuff
Incredible Hulk opening
Iron Man 1
Hulk from after the opening to him leaving Rio de Janeiro
Iron Man 2/Hulk from arriving at Culver University to Betty and Banner leaving Colorado
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer
Thor
Hulk from Banner/Betty arriving in New York to Banner triggering the Hulk on purpose in Canada
The Consultant/Final Scene of Hulk
Captain American Modern Day Shtuff

Weird. I saw 'Captain America: The First Avenger' last summer, and I don't remember him being 25 feet tall...

It re-affirms that this is shaping up to be another round of The Tony Stark Show, though.
