So the next wave will be Star Convoy, Sky Garry, and Grandus, merging into Triple Combination Battlestar Attack?

Fixed that.
QUOTE(Aberration @ Sep 29 2012, 12:07 AM) *
Battlestars would be great, but there's a few things I'd rather see first:

- Megatron
- Soundwave (could do a Deathsaurus here and pack a cassette with each of his wave-mates)
- Another gestalt (Computron would be a good candidate. He's an Autobot, since Kabaya seems shy about doing 'Cons. Limbs have distinct alt-modes, so he's got a little more variety than Superion, and they're also very similar colors, which works within the 3 plastic color limit)

We definitely need a Megatron at some point, but I want those Battlestars as soon as they can be done right.

I figure Overlord could be a good wave mate with Sixshot.

Fort Max is big as a deluxe, right?

Fort Max is unbelievably awesome. If you don't already have one, get one.

It's really an awesome line. The only wave I don't have is Gaiacross.

Yeah, I got the first wave and won the Streetwise one at SavCon. I got a bunch of Kabaya toys, for some reason haven't bought many of these, which I really want.

They're great fun. My only real gripe with them is that it's quite common for pegs to be too thick for the holes they're supposed to fit into, resulting in a fit that's so tight that it stresses the rigid plastic. These aren't something I fiddle with very often, with the exception of Fortress Maximus which is a legitimate toy when assembled. Most of them display nicely with Smallest Transformers.

Yeah, they are fun. I have some older BWII ones also and these are a big step up. I don't remember if its Kabaya or another company that made these chunky PVC figurines during AEC, but those are a lot of fun too.

There's basically 0 chance these will ever be available domestically, right?
Since as I understand, they aren't manufactured by Hasbro.
But I'll be receptive to anybody with an understanding of Japanese being able to clarify the situation.

Big Powered set. Gonna get this in a heartbeat without a doubt. Don't think I'm gonna get the original G1 anytime soon so I'll just make do with this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

They're fiddly model kits that require an ungodly amount of stickers, some of which are the size of a Lego stud. Some parts may require extra work, as the fit may be ever so slightly too tight out of the box. Be prepared to do some sanding and shaving. Some of them are delicate, as the plastic is very hard and can be very thin.

So yes, there is no hope that Hasbro will release these. They are not a fit for Hasbro's target market at all. Go ahead and import these. In my experience the prices are pretty reasonable. The most expensive one is Fortress Maximus, which I paid $60 for. That's twice as much as I've paid for any other wave, which is entirely fair as the kits that make up Fortress Maximus are twice as big as ordinary kits.

I'm still stunned that Kabaya is making so many of my grails. I'm still waiting to wake up and find out that it was all a dream, that I don't really get to own these things I've been waiting for for so long.

Again.
