I remain unimpressed by Kre-o.
Especially since they are doing repaints of these things too. Well, I'm assuming that Black BB is the same "mold" as the old one. Is it different? |

Stealth Bee here is way different that the other two Kre-O Bees

These are cool, and I may have to "get" the new Kreons, but I might be tempted to actually buy these sets if they would stray away from the vehicle sets and go towards playsets.
The Transformers are rife with playset fodder. We could get non-transforming sets of Metroplex, Trypticon, The Ark, The Nemesis, Scorponok, Fort Max, and Sherman Dam just to name a few. --------------------  When you collect MISB/OSC, you're not collecting figures you're collecting boxes! |

The new Kre-O sets do lean much more to "playsets", at least, as much as similarly-sized Lego sets do. You see the Bee set has the checkpoint. The Optimus/Megatron 2-pack has a bank "playset". The Devastator set has construction site buildings. And the Cliff/Vehicons and Barricade/Autotroopers sets, while largely army-builders, have a few "environment" pieces.
