I was talking with Galenraff and PC at the Hasbro Gala, and was talking about the little Jetfire Exhibit the smithsonian put in after ROTF was filmed there, and could've sworn I'd posted some pictures on the board before, but can't find them.

so, here's a bunch. not terribly good, but I don't think I've seen anyone post better onces since;

I would buy that white leader Jetfire at the drop of a hat if it ever actually... y'know. Existed.

Was that like a cancelled G1 repaint or something?

Kinda neat.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that wants the white one...

That is definitely pretty awesome! Like I said, maybe I just missed it a few years ago, but I haven't seen this until now. It's surprising and cool to see how many toys, not just movie props, they included in that display!

iirc, the White/red/yellow one is just a Test Shot, not a deco prototype or anything.

There's a couple other things I don't seem to have pics of, either; the replacement cover plate for the nosewheel with the Decepticon logo, and a big TV showing a loop of how they CGI'd his initial transformation sequence.

I was told by the Libary it was one of the most popular peices they ever had

Jetfire needs to be in the Hall of Fame.

If for no other reason than they might bring that white Leader class so I can steal it from the case.

I'd really like to see this display someday....sadly I visited the place a couple years before the movie, and am not likely to go that way again anytime soon.

I'm surprised that they have so much movie stuff there in a museum dedicated purely to real world aviation stuff.

It was definitely posted either here or at TFW2005, because we used that to determine the components for the Wheelie prop.
