i'll probably end up nabbing just a couple of these

i like the auto-transform and the cuteness and collectibility of them but at 3.99 a pop [for such tiny toys] im gonna be pretty selective

Optimus and Lockdown are for sure buys for me. beyond them, i havent really made up my mind yet

but they do look awesome!

I agree with your qualms about the price, but get the $3 coupon at coupons.target.com and they cost around $1 each!

Only one I see there is for Deluxe DOTM toys only...

-ZacWilliam, already has his Megatron up to level 3 in the online game but it looks like you don't get to change stats or spend Energon cubes till the full version launches in May...

These guys have codes right?
I never saw one in my Sentinel Prime's packaging.
There's just the insert and instructions.

Looks like we get a sneak peek at two more launchers as well. If you look closely at the two red tinted launchers, you can see that there is an Ironhide launcher to the left of Megatron and a Seeker launcher to the right of Optimus.

Ironhide's launcher has been shown off already, actually.

So, reading their info page:

Sometime before May the Bot Shots toys will all start to come with a slip of paper with a 14 digit number on it that will be redeamable for Energon Cubes that you can use to buy things with at the "Bot Shop" in the game. I don't believe the figures have these in them yet.

The rare chase Super Bots will have a code good for larger amounts of Energon AND that opens an exclusive "Super Bot Arena" location. If you can win a fight there you unlock Super Bots to recruit into your stable of character.

-ZacWilliam, playing the game has actually increased my desire to snag one of the actual toys. Was gonna wait for Skyfire but now I kinda want two to play with with my son.

There's an eight(?) digit code printed on each botshot somewhere. I wonder if that's the code? Also I bought the Eeeeeevil 3-pack today. $12.99 at TRU.

While tempted by Radical Saurus, I went with Fun Grin.

I went with MetroShot1003. Not sure what strategy is possible when you have to click matches at top speed just to avoid having unanswered attacks....

Bot Shot Prime's trailer/launcher is much nicer and more complex than Movie Trilogy Prime's trailer. Not bad for a 9 dollar toy.

Plus, when combined with the cab, it reminds me of Star Convoy

I was sold the moment I played with Nemesis Prime and he did one-arm pushups for his victory animation. This is the best thing ever.

Waiting for these to hit Target. There aren't many Wal-Marts around here, and I don't want to pay TRU's inflated prices. I did get Starscream and Optimus from TRU, and they are awesome (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I got my two so far from Target. I gave the DPCI and they got them out for me.
However another Target that I had called beforehand claimed they didn't carry them anymore (I guess was waiting for the reset?). Stupid.

I opened Barricade (heck the bubble was already falling off the card). It has a certain charm. Just wish the arms moved.

I doubt it'll be long before at least one Bot Shot goes into the dye vat. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

Also, I like the bio note for the second Bumblebee: he changes his appearance in hopes of confusing his opponents. Heh.
