Sorry if this has been reported elsewhere already.
Joint cooperation between Diamond Select and IDW, quite fortunate that the company doing current TF comics will be doing this as well -chance for a crossover is higher that way. Writer/artists are unknown to me, worked on Godzilla and TMNT before. Unfortunately, the story is set on Earth (groan, I hate this cliche, understandable in movies as it means lower budget, but in comics... no such reason...) The designs on the cover look quite different from those minimates we have seen, but who knows. News report also confirm that the toys are coming in autumn this year.
