I got really bored last night.

This is a RVN-3L Raven from "Battletech" (image is from the Technical Readout: 3050; the original scan was done by the BTech wiki at Sarna.net) done up to look like Torchic from Pokemon.

It wasn't until after I got done with it that I realized the thighs should have been orange, too.

Done using the "pencil" tool in MS Paint. Rough time: 30 minutes.

"At my last intern briefing, Craig was clearly tired. His message had changed to, "Stay out of trouble, period." It seemed that, as director of security, Livingstone was growing old fast. If he didn't watch out, he'd become one of us - a 'Mormon' or a 'straight,' which is what Clinton staffers called FBI agents, the Secret Service, and former Bush employees."

Yay, chicken walkers!

Here is a small program you can use to overlay images (provided you're interested!). So you can save the lineart, then color over it (mostly) giving no hoots in hell about eating up the lines when you color. Overlay the line art over the colors, and yay, now you have squiggle-free borders. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Thanks.

This time around, though, I was trying for a "hand-colored" feel to it, so I only erased if I really marked up the lines or cockpit.

Hand-scribbley chicken walker! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) What prompted the Pokemon juxtaposition, out of curiousity/

1. Boomerang's been airing the Hoenn episodes of Pokemon. (This afternoon should be the episodes were Ash gets into Lava Ridge Town).

2. One of the characters in my Battletech fic pilots a Raven with a custom weapons load-out; I needed to reference the base stats (like speed and armor protection) due to having forgotten to write those down earlier.

It's up on DeviantArt.

Since this is DA, the standard bit about needing an ad blocker still applies. Sorry.
