I'd like Tara Strong to sign a page in a PPG book.

Indeed. I think people with a certain color letter or whatever get to go at certain times; I've not done it myself, but it seems to work pretty efficiently.

Usually there's just specific times that they are doing autographs. The most popular guests have insanely long lines, that they usually cut off before they even start signing. I've never seen any "color coded" autograph lines - only for registration pick up.

Last year, in a bit of jip to lots of folks, they started making walk-ins pay extra for Peter Cullen autographs, I believe. Package holders got them for free (if you showed up early enough).

Never had to wait more than 15 minutes... whenever I felt like it in line. For the normal guests.

Guests have scheduled Autograph signing times (several times per day).

If you are a walk in however... I believe there is a fee for autographs.

They had specific lines/times for Kaye and Cullen last year. I waited about an hour for Cullen. Kaye's was quite a bit shorter.

The only time I remember there being specified times for specified groups was during the OTFCC days. Definitely '03, maybe '04 (I got my stuff signed right after the voice contest, and all the guests were in that room anyway, so I can't remember if I was assigned to be there, or if I just took advantage). But, other than that, it's just "get in line and wait your turn".

I managed to get an autograph from Cullen last year during the afternoon session, but only because I got in line in the morning. Those of us who waited it out were given tickets to come back for the afternoon session, and to resume our places in line in the exact order we left.

I don't think there'll be the same problem this year. While I mean no disrespect to the guests this year, I don't think they have the draw power that Cullen has.

I dunno, I've heard a lot more people talking about getting Tara Strong's autograph than mentioned Cullen. Mostly non-Transformers items.

Damn, I thought I wrote something after that sentence. Anyway, I was just speculating, and I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong; after I get my autographs, of course! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif)

Kaye's line last year was quite long too. I mean, the only one who could challenge Cullen in autograph popularity is Welker (I'd say they'd be even, but Cullen's been to the past few, so lots of us repeat goers would be in Welker's line first), but still, Kaye is quite popular. Being the new Optimus, and BW Megatron is super popular with us nerds as well. Not to mention, his panel was hilarious - I wish I could've seen it more than once.

I don't really want to debate this, there really isn't any point, I just don't want to come off sounding like some sort of condescending jerk. The only thing I was trying to say is that I don't remember hearing people having to get tickets to come back and get in Kaye's line again. I don't have the schedule in front of me, so maybe Kaye had more openings last year. Maybe it's just that Cullen took to talking up the fans a bit in the morning session (the staff did seem quite adamant about the "please get your autograph and move on" policy in the afternoon. Dunno about the morning though, I couldn't see the front of the line! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) ). I love Dave too, he seems like a really cool guy; by no means would I want to disprespect him. Popular

I was only trying to say that I don't think there'll be a situation this year where you have to stand in line in the morning just to get a ticket to get an autograph in the afternoon. I only speculated because I don't remember there being a similar situation in years past. Heck, I don't even remember this being a problem in '06 when Cullen was there signing autographs. Last year may have just been the anomaly since he was voicing Prime in the movie, and it just brought people out of the wood work. I don't know.

Could someone just tell me I'm not a condescending jerk so that I can stop babbling and let the matter drop. Please? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wildride.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-screamer.gif)

But pointless debates are what makes the internet go 'round! You're not being condescending, if that helps.

No, last year, that I remember, there was no tickets you had to get for Kaye. Cullen's was BY FAR the worst. I think he only had two signing opportunities though.

Kaye had more times to sign I thought, but I could be wrong. His first line, at least, did have some issues though. They did the thing where it was 3 or 4 people signing at once (Kaye, Daniel Ross, and I can't remember who else...or it might have just been that empty seat for the NRG guy that didn't show up). It was too long and they stopped people from joining in, then they split it up so you had to pick only one (poor Daniel....) person to get your stuff signed.

So yeah, Kaye is definitely no Cullen, but if Kaye is signing from say, 9-10, if last year is any indication, you don't want to wait till 9:45 to get in line, and that was my point. Cullen, yeah, show up an hour early...at least. That's what me and some friends did, and they cut off the line not that far behind us. For Kaye, I'd get there at when his time starts, or within 15 minutes.
