The Hasbro G.I. Joe designer apparently did confirm today that the Cyclone was his inspiration. But Shinji Aramaki did the mechanical designs for both Genesis Climber Mospeada and Bubblegum Crisis, so we're both right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

The driver, Ashiko, is male. The torso and upper arms are reused from the "1989" Snake-Eyes (whose parts are also used on Mercenary Wraith).
The armor will only attach to Ashiko himself. His limbs and chest armor are full of pegs and holes for the armor to attach to securely.
