> Could BotCon make Circuit Breaker? Or Death's Head?, Not "would" or "should", just "can they".

Just curious - Circuit Breaker & Death's Head are, of course, owned by Marvel. Could BotCon do a toy under Hasbro's Marvel licence? And, if so, would they be impracticably expensive for them to do, given licensing fees and that MU toys are presumably made in different factories/on different production lines from TF toys?

["Would" is an entirely separate question - for one thing, they'd probably need to be doing a Marvel-themed year to even consider it - as is "should", since that's subjective.]

Hasbro probably coould, but to make it cost effective they would probably be remold/repaints of existing figures since I don't see them making all new castings just for Botcon. Just like the Botcon exclusive TF's.

And who want's that? If we were going to get either of these characters, but especially Death's Head, I'd want them to be their own unique figures, not just remolds.

Right now any Circuit Breaker would probably require the use of the first Marvel Universe female buck, since that's the "nakedest" in terms of sculpt.

Which would mean all of her circuitry would probably just be paint. Blegh.

I'm reminded of a time when Brian said something to the effect of "we can do anything. It's just a matter of how much you're willing to pay for it."

So, in answer your questions, I have to say "yes" to all. It's possible, but probably "impracticably expensive."

I don't think Fun Pub would have any legal problems making an Emulator figure. I wonder if that's the reason Emulator is so different from Circuit Breaker.

I just secretly {hah} hope for a CB Comic pack in with Black suited Spider-Man...

Also,if they had that ability...I'd want Transforming Neoknights...

Rapture {remolded head, body with "radar domes"} and Dynamo {repaint} from Torch and Thunderpunch from a Hulk.

A Circuit Breaker figure would be tailor made for something like SDCC.

In fact, going the TF/Joe route, a 16-inch non-transforming G1 Shockwave for a Marvel Universe Circuit Breaker would be pretty freaking awesome.

Or a 16 inch non-transforming Megatron (with black helmet!) and Black-suited Spiderman with a box that is cover of Transformers #3 would also be pretty freaking awesome too.

Just out of curiosity, how large are SDCC exclusive runs?

And it would be neat if they sold them at both conventions... maybe a different paintjob or something, but still neat.

Those would be so friggin' cool!

Maybe the Megs/Spidey one could be like a diorama depicting the cover scene.

Didn't someone once do a prototype Circuit Breaker for the Marvel Heroes line?

I recall seeing a picture of that somewhere.

The same guy also did a prototype Skullcrunch for the TF Universe Heroes line before that got cancelled.

"At my last intern briefing, Craig was clearly tired. His message had changed to, "Stay out of trouble, period." It seemed that, as director of security, Livingstone was growing old fast. If he didn't watch out, he'd become one of us - a 'Mormon' or a 'straight,' which is what Clinton staffers called FBI agents, the Secret Service, and former Bush employees."

Those weren't official.
