Play nice. I'll start:

He likes pasta to an obscene degree. Also, he exists.

Here's mine. Sorry for the crappy lighting. The iPhone camera is decent when I take pictures in the daylight, but terrible when there's no sunlight.

And here are a few detail shots. For some reason, these didn't go all orangey.

I'm not sure if I like this game or not, but damned if I'm not going to beat it. I think I'm halfway through the original campaign now. Then it's on to Storm of Zehir!
I miss the radial menus from NWN1, as well as the ability to rotate my view by moving my mouse to the edge of the screen. That functionality exists in NWN2, but it's way too sensitive, even on the lowest settings.

NWN2 shoehorns your character into a specific background, regardless of his race and class. The first game felt rather more open in terms of what your character's history could be. The story so far, however, has been rich and populated with interesting characters. Most of the voice-acting is meager at best and the pronunciations of certain words (like Hosttower) are blatantly (though consistently) wrong. Where it's good, it's damn fine. Most of the henchmen are very well-done. I'm continually amused by the fact that my character sounds like Steven Colbert.

The combat is better. The quick-cast menu makes up somewhat for the lack of radial menu and helps keep me immediately aware of my characters' spell loadouts. You can now take direct control of any member of your party at any time, though NPCs still speak only to your character.

The graphics range from awful to gorgeous. Spell effects are the latter. Faces and bodies are the former.

The load-screens... my God. There are load-screens to load load-screens. A few nights back, when I was suffering from a toothache and out of ibuprophen, I tried playing a little NWN2 to distract me from the agony. I grew painfully aware of how many load-screens this game has. I keep my TV on when I play so I have something to entertain me while waiting for the next load-screen to load.

Has anyone else played this?

Windows 7 "USB People" Press Kits.

QUOTE
With the Windows 7 launch upon us, Microsoft has pulled out all the stops, even when it comes to USB keys. These totally adorable “USB People” were given to us as a press kit for a Windows 7 event. Now this is what I call creative marketing. I’m a PC – Windows 7 USB person sports a white t-shirt that is obviously a play on words in regards to those Apple commercials. Strangely the male and female version kinda look like the PC guy from the commercials…I wonder if that was on purpose too. The legs move and so do the arms, almost like Lego Minifigs. In any case its a totally unique marketing strategy that can be done by any other company too or the average person. USB People offers custom “USB People” flash drives that you can customize or choose from a selection they currently have. Capacities range from 256MB to 8GB.

Pics are in the link. This isn't the most bizarre Windows 7 promo item I've seen. The Windows 7 Whopper takes that prize. But this is certainly the one I'd get the biggest kick out of.
