Half an hour to go before I turn on Halo: waypoint and get my Sangheili fix with the new Legends ep "The Duel."

Might as well spend it reading the Evolutions short story anthology. It's out early here. At over 500 pages, even at trade paperback prices, this is good value for your money.

I've been playing a lot of Horde this past week, taking advantage of the triple XP event to level up Baird and get some achievements, and all I'd like to say is...

WTF is with all the people dropping out without a word, either before a game even starts, or when we first fail a wave?

Ok, I get that sometimes people need to go, particularly after a game's been going on for quite some time, and I understand that. People need to go to work, or to sleep, or to have dinner with their families. That's fine. These people are exempt from my rant.

What gets me is the people who, the FIRST time we fail a wave, suddenly poof! they're gone. Rather than try again, improve our strategy, do something that's an accomplishment....as soon as it's a little bit challenging these people disappear.

The grand winner was a five-person Horde team who, the second we saw what map we'd be on...three people vanished. !!! Me and the last guy ended up playing through 25 (!) waves--the highest I've ever gotten--just the two of us. Any money had we had another couple people with the same level of teamwork and skill--and I don't consider myself particularly good--we could have survived all 50.

Oh, also, my gold Lancer is a newb detector. I can't recall how many times I've been asked where I got it and, no kidding, how much it cost and OMG where can I get one?!?!one!!?!. I wish I liked the Hammerburst better, because using a gold Hammerburst would really blow the newb's minds.

I would like to personally thank terrorists for the invention of Lime Tums, since only a terrorist could possibly be evil enough to like that flavour. The company only keeps making them so they don't get bombed.

Prices are in USD and are negotiable. Buyer pays shipping. I am in CANADA, and Canada Post's fees are beyond my control. I will take items to the post office for exact price quotes, but must do so on my way to/from work, and I do not work every day of the week. Please let me know if items are a "rush".

Items are shipped in bubble mailers UNLESS they are delicate items or I am requested to use a box by the buyer, who must be willing to pay the additional materials and shipping cost of a box and packaging, or for delicate items.

Unless requested otherwise, I ship by small packet mail, airmail. If you want insurance and a tracking number, I will do so, but the price will be more as Canada Post sets it. I am not responsible for packages lost in transit. I will ship overseas.

I accept Paypal by either e-cheque or direct transfer, and ship when payment is received. I do NOT accept Paypal credit or debit card payments unless you PM me in advance and are willing to pay an additional fee to cover the fees that I am charged for these payments. Please PM me if you wish to make non-Paypal payment arrangements.

Items are described to the best of my ability, but as they have been in storage in a box, may have minor scuffs, lines in paint, factory paint irregularities, etc., and are NOT to be considered "perfectly mint." All accessories have been played with.
