Omega Guardians Membership, Just trying to organize and keep track here... Options

Okay, it's been awhile since I've kept track, so I wanted to start a list here of characters that are members of the Omega Guardians.

I'll keep a master list here in the first post, edited as people state, correct, add, whatever as the thread moves on. The categories are as follows:

Active members -- characters currently active within the team
Reserve members -- characters currently inactive with the group
Inactive members -- characters currently retired from active group association
Associate members -- characters associated with the team while not being true members, which can include honorary membership
Probationary members -- characters on a probation with the team, pending full membership
Support staff -- characters that operate primarily in a support capacity for the team, most often based in/on OG headquarters

I'm not sure what qualification he'd have, but Doc Julz isn't a superhero, but tries to put his inventions towards the betterment of mankind, and oftentimes they're useful to superheroes, so he works with the OG in that aspect.
I guess... Associate member?

I'm not sure of the Tomorrow's Guardians would count as "associates" or not, but there's Tomahawk, Tigressa, Mako, Snowstar and Dynamo. You could probably add Tiburon and THE PROMINENCE as reserve members, and Natalie Briggs would be an associate.

[Rust]

Night Raider would qualify as a Associate Member. He's active in the CoH branch, but ultimately I consider him part of The Security Legion.

[Devcon]

Free-Fall could count as an Associate member, not being a part of that team but of another. She's sort-of necessary for Star-Fall to exist, so having her part of the "surrounding mythos" is sort-of necessary.

CoH branch? So someone did actually make the Omega Guardians up as an SG? What server?

i'd happily say all my heroes are in the active members part i suppose. especially Steel Cat and Saturn Storm

Osprey would probably be a reserve or associate member. He's got his own team, own city, but he'd help out when needed. kinda like Batman said he would be to the JL in the three part beginning movie of the cartoon

That said... I've got a redesign for Osprey's costume, and a more solid backstory for him I've been working on. I'm rather pleased with how things turned out.

I admit, I hate fine tuning and changing things after people were nice enough to do art and stuff of Osprey... but Inspiration struck. blame the muse? ^^;;

If we get enough entries, a profile book for our superhero characters is actually something we could get printed. They're ours, so there's no copyright issues.

Of COURSE it's on the server where I'm already overloaded (14 toons on Pinnacle right now). :/ If I want to transfer Doctor Dave to Pinn, I'll either need to burn a space, or transfer someone out. Is the SG active enough these days to make either worthwhile?

Mostly just 3 active players: Myself, Rust and Skyfire.

I found with the advent of Global Chanels in this game that SGs are not really necessary anymore - want to team, ask in your globals. Nowawdays SGs in CoH are mostly for crafting tables and teleporters (but that's just my opinion)

I guess you could put in Tomahawk, Dynamo, Snowstar, Tigressa, and Mako as "recruited" members or "training" members.

Well, yeah, but the point is that I can't have Doctor Dave team up with Zoot Suit Riot et al at the moment because they're on different servers. And Pinnacle is full, so it's not trivial to just move Doctor Dave off Champion to Pinn. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Well if you ever want to, I got a Zoot on Exalted too, although I rarely play him. Though I DID just get him to level 10 just so I could snag the Omega Guardians SG name (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I don't see why not. We've pretty much taken all comers thus far. Do you have any art of said character? I don't recall seeing him anywhere to date. Tell us about him!

EDIT: Ah, wait. I see him in the Insert Coin section. Judging by his appearance, is he a Nightwing-esque kind of guy? Bat-gadgets and the like?

Abilities:
- Genius-level Intellect
- Photographic Memory
- Martial Arts Adaptability (able to learn any form of fighting style)

His personality is a mixture of Batman and Spider-Man.
