Seeing the ads for the made-for-TV movie on YouTube, I was shocked to se this based on a comic book character. Here's what I'm taking about:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebreather

This movie may give Jake Long a run for his money.

I'm looking forward to this one. It looks like it might be decent.

Anyone else get the feeling that it's actually a pilot episode disguised as a movie? For some reason, I see them turning it into a regular series.

Depending on how good it turns out to be, that could actually be awesome. There's a serious lack of good shows on CN these days...

Scooby Doo Mysteries INC, Adventure Time, Generator Rex , Clone Wars and Symbionic Titan disagree with you.

The trailers they've been spanning sure look interesting, I hope I just don't feel overwhelmed by the time the damn thing airs. It has a Mainframe-esque feel about it.

Scooby Doo Mystery Inc is the only one I side with. Clone Wars suck since it it's a ruination of the micro-series made by the creator of Sym-Biotic Titan, another good show.

You guys are forgetting Tower Prep.

But of course it's not a cartoon... so it must burn for all eternity or some such nonsense.

I've been enjoying Scooby, Generator Rex, Clone Wars, and Symbionic. I think they're all decent shows and I'm really looking forward to fire breather as it looks good too.

Well, it wasn't bad and I definitely see this becoming a regular series.

Two thumbs up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif)

Dang. That bad huh? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wildride.gif)

Maybe I didn't mind it as much cause I've never read the comics. I came in completely "fresh" so I'm more forgiving of whatever they may have changed.

I enjoyed it, but the voice acting seemed like it was trying too hard to compensate for the bland facial animations.

Didn't like that they just seemed to drop the plotline of Ken and that other girl. Maybe a few more minutes of epilogue of the next day at school would have helped.

So who wants to take bets on whether this will be turned into a regular series? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-depth.gif)

I thought it was a pretty good movie. I personally was interested in how he was concieved. Heh.

I did feel a little followup would have been nice. Some kind of karmic retribution on the thieves of the locker monies too.

I saw it last night and liked it quite a bit. I didn't think much of the first round of advertising, but the second round (after it had already aired) made me watch it.

There is some room there for a prequel. That short flashback/exposition at the beginning (dealing with how the War ended and what role Duncan's mom played) definitely hinted at a pretty interesting story.

Maybe if they do a follow-up series, there can be an episode(s) explaining what happened.

I thought this was a precurser to a series. I'm interested in watching more. . . .

I was rather surprised to find out Aeon Flux's Peter Chung directed this, since I don't remember him doing a full 3D CGI production before, but I suppose I shouldn't be: the gestures, the close up shots, the sometimes slightly unsual body movements, and oh, those character designs, especially that big yellow pompadour: that's got Chung's fingerprints all over it.

I'd bet cash money that there's going to be a series eventually, if there's not already one in the works. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-op.gif)
