Alpha trooper. Drum fed, slam action shot gun. I was in heaven when I saw it. All the little fiddly bits will make it a real project when we paint it, but its gonna be fun!

I felt like getting high off glue fumes recently, so I started putting together my Imperial Guard Cadian Sentinel. I got the feet in the positions I like and glued down (Neat trick since one of them isn't even really touching the base plate) and the rest of the leg assembly mocked up (Twist ties! YAY!) when I remembered I had another box of boys and bits left over from my cadian heavy weapons emplacement.
So... I did something... evil today. Specifically, I will soon have a ork boy running around with a nice an orky autocannon. It was a hell of a trick to get the arms to work. I ruined a complete heavy weapon bearing arm before I realised that tact wouldn't work, and had to tear up a flamer arm for the fist to make yet another heavy weapon bearing arm to hold onto the close side of the auto cannon. Like my first real custom, the orkinator, before him I have a small story to go with him. Well, story, as with the orkinator whom is have a really bad day, this ultra 'eavy ork boy is simply having a really good day. Oh, and I'm hugging buzzing right now, delicious... -------------------- |

Three things made me happy today:
1: Bought some bright blue LED Christmas lights for the house. Been seeing them everywhere and finally decided to give em a go. 2: Was able to transform RotF Voyager Prime into and out of alt-mode with no major hiccups. This makes me feel a tingly in ways I don't think is in any way normal or appropriate. 3: Found a local photography store with just about everything I could possibly want for my digital photography (yay!) including printing and framing services. -------------------- |

The thank you calls from the fishermen that I work with.
With my mom's and my grade project partner's help , I managed to donate a few packs of basic foodstuffs, to help them in these difficult times. (in this time of the year, the volume of capture is hitting an all time low, and since they depend form daily captures to make ends meet, it's really tough for them) they all have been very helpful and kind when I was doing research with them, so I cooked up this plan since february! I'm glad it worked and the packs were divided among them fairly (you have no idea how those packs multiplied to satisfy the needs of more than 20 fishermen and their families (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif) ) guess god helped us there.
