Hey,

Just a quick question regarding the Titanium War Within Optimus Prime (the 6" version).

I was browsing the Wiki page for Megatron toys (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Megatron_%28G1%29/t...Titanium_Series) and found this description of the Prime found in the TRU War Within Optimus Prime / War Within Megatron two-pack:
QUOTE
Though the Megatron in this set is identical to its individual release, Optimus loses the paint wash, making him much cleaner-looking.

But over on the toy page for Optimus Prime (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Optimus_Prime_%28G1...Titanium_Series):
QUOTE
A Toys"R"Us-exclusive item, this Titanium two-pack includes the previously-released War Within Optimus Prime along with the War Within Megatron figure (which had not seen individual release at the time of this pack hitting shelves), and the fifth issue of the War Within comic book, featuring an exclusive variant cover.

Not mentioning any loss of paint wash, this seems to imply an unchanged Optimus Prime, which contradicts the above.

While I own both packages, they're not readily available for me to check myself. So, can anyone confirm that the Optimus Prime found in the two-pack differs from the earlier individual release?

Thanks in advance,
MIKE

Every set stocked near me was identical to the original, so I go with Nevermore on this one.

As I've said countless times before:

Cheetor was not the best toy in the line.

He was the best Cheetor ever made. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-silverbolt.gif)
