OK so I just got a new Andriod phone and I would really like to get some music on it. I have been using iTunes as media player since it seemed to work ok but it wont play nice with any device that is not Apple. So, I decided to dust off media player and OH MY GOD!!! This thing manages to comepletely lag out my computer if it tries to do anything except sit there. I know I don't have the best of systems but I haven't had any problems running the latest version of iTunes so why the hell does this thing run so badly? I checked for updates, viruses, malware, etc. and everything is good but the program runs really badly.
Ok so the purpose of this is two-fold. For one: What good media programs would you recommend that would allow for syncing music to a non-Apple device? (and before you ask buying Apple is not an option, I will never do business with that company) For tow: The hell is wrong with Media Player... is it just that bad of a program or something? -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

Have you tried deleting the program and reinstalling it?

Windows Media Player is pretty bad.
If you want iTunes-style media syncing on Android, try DoubleTwist. |

Doesn't Android build its own playlists, so that you can just drop the files on by UMS? Just "Open Folder to View Files," then drag and drop straight from iTunes to the Windows Explorer window?
Unquestionably, DoubleTwist looks far more convenient, because it's cable-free, so I just mean this as a question. This post has been edited by Copper Bezel: Jan 31 2011, 02:12 PM |

You can just drag and drop music files to your SD card if you want.
The Winamp android amp can wireless sync your music as well. I just started using it and it seems pretty nice. -------------------- HawkeyeMTM
