I wanna talk about the Prototype Godbamber armor
I been looking at a few pics of it with the one linking to the Jim S blog being the newest one
even its an older pic

Zooming in on it closely the blue arms when connected to PMOP near the top of the sholders
shows what looks like a Scramble City type connector you can see the gray holding part
Knowing this was a very early plan of GB maybe it was a temp connector
But just maybe they where going to plan for you to connect Scramble style bots to Prime for even more power

I really dig this version of GB and wished we had gotten it or maybe useing the prototype issue it anyway Im sure given the avalable info on it they can engineer one.

I've always wondered what Roller would have looked like. The answer was "crappy", at least as a head.

That's the answer I come to as well, and I'm glad they didn't bother.

I'm not impressed with the Roller, but I still think it would've been better than a giant peg-on head that is nothing more than a giant peg-on head. I think that head is easily the worst part of what is otherwise an impressive toy (one of my all-time favourites, actually). I feel like the switch from a transforming Roller must have come pretty late in the development cycle if what we got instead is the best they could come up with.

I'm just wondering if, with that design, a third party might make a PMOP-compatible head now...

Also, the front page says he was supposed to be a Targetmaster as well as a Powermaster and Headmaster... is that for real? That's the first I've ever heard of it.

Anyway, the head looks different than I imagined upon first hearing the head was originally intended to become Roller... I figured it would have been the head as it appeared, more or less, which transformed, rather than having all this extra (I thought maybe the little round things on either side of his face might have originally been small wheels, for example).

...and a robot, too? That was a surprise here. I don't think anyone ever mentioned that before...

The look might have suffered a little, though probably no more than several others. But I bet the fun factor would have made up for it.
