Soo... Maybe made with Solus's Hammer?

Or by Starscream?

-ZacWilliam, the lack of Smokescreen in the Autobot team shot is just slightly disconcerting... I really hope Beast Hunters doesn't just carry over the same cast from the start of Prime in all the exact same bodies and designs. Get upgrades or new alt modes or SOMETHING to make new toys and episodes more visually interesting!

Man, it sure feels good to have something new design-wise to look forward to. Sure, vehicles are fun but you can start to predict them after a while.

You know, that faction makes it clear that this guy is a whole party separate from the star seekers. I wonder if they'll even show up.

EDIT: Smokescreen doesn't seem to be in that Autobot lineup in the end...Though it could just be stock "autobots walking" footage.

All of the footage except the occasional dinosaur clip is old stuff. The Autobot lineup you're talking about is from the first episode, IIRC.

Again, most of the footage is old. Woulda thought the Starscream-turns-around-and-grins-evilly shot from the very first episode that was used in all advertising for about six months woulda tipped most folks off.

I really hope this means that there's a three way war (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

And Predaking/Scourge needs to be voiced by David Kaye. For reals.

Well, I did say "slightly disconcerting" not "grab the pitch forks!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

It's just given how relatively... sedate Prime's character/status quo development has been on the whole it's enough to plant a little doubt.

-ZacWilliam, using clips from early season one for most of your S3 preview probably wasn't the best strategy, even if there isn't much S3 to show...

WHY YES THAT IS A VERY NICE WATERMARK TFW.

Predaking looks cool, best use of the name yet if it's true.

Predaking. They will not confirm his pricepoint but it is above Voyager (no kidding, he's a very big boy). Cryptic hints that could imply multiple pricepoint versions (makes sense, everyone else got that).

Just an FYI, but Thylacine is attending the NYCC event on behalf of TFWiki.net, and got us that promo video! So he is not making things up or having pants that are on fire.

Ah, ok. I figured it could go either way. Though it certainly makes it feel a lot more vague with the exception of "There's a beast!"

New, badass-looking dragon Transformer. MUST. NOT. FAP.

Feel free to redeco the hell out of him, Hasbro. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

I like the name Predaking being applied to this toy, but I hope he's an "Exiles" take on Scourge as others mention. Of course, the clip makes it sound otherwise...

Very glad to see th impressive size of the toy and ANOTHER new faction symbol.

His faction = Predacons. There will be many more Predacon toys than Star Seekers. The latter group was invented in the books and there is "no strong driving force" to really explore them in toyline. Predawn faction will be a big deal with big merch push. Predaking himself pretty much confirmed at multiple sizes / pricepoints.

Huh, the dragon mode, and especially the insignia, sure is taking cues from Deathwing, that's unexpected. Looks very neat, and great to hear about even more beasts, as those have always been my favorite type of Transformer.

Oh, good. Phew. Now I have categories to put his wiki page in: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Predaking_%28Prime%29

BTW, Thy's photos are up at that page, if anyone wants to go see.

Judging by those under-body shots he doesn't seem to have too difficult a transformation. You can clearly see the limbs, robot-mode head (which looks cool), etc.

Very happy to hear the Predacons will be a whole faction and not just one Dragon. Can't wait to see what other animals we get... All mythical? All monsters? Or just a very random "Beast Planet" like selection?

I think a repaint of Thundertron as a Predacon sounds like a very likely all things considered.

I'm little sorry we won't get more Star Seekers to fill out the crew at least. It's funny Alex Irvine sounded like they were something Hasbro wanted included and their Pre-book Art preview at BotCon suggests that too. I wonder if they were just an idea Hasbro had at one point and never got around to fully, and now the time has past.

-ZacWilliam, the Preds are an exciting enough idea I'm not too put out over the SSeeker though...
