Episode 24, One Shall Rise Part 1 Options

So, out of the The Thirteen I can only recognize Prima, mostly do to the Star Saber, but I assume the Megatron looking/goatee wearing one is Megatronus/The Fallen, and the spiky one is Liege Maximo?

To the left and right of Prima (in the first shot) are Megatronus and Vector Prime, I believe. The guy on the far left with the visor might be Nexus? I bet the tiny guy in the forcefield is the Mini-Con.

EDIT: Added a third image. Whoever the beastformer is, he's one ugly mother. Also, man, that caped thing is kind of crazy. (Did Solus grow hair?)

If he's the same as the big guy in the last shot(both have the "wings") then maybe.

Thoughts...

Beard is probably Alpha Trion.
Either Archangel or Centaur must be the Beast Prime.
I'd guess Smokey Eyes as the Fallen just cause of the smoke.
Bulky is probably Nexus
If Loki isn't evil/evil-ish I'll be stunned.
Either Maleficent or Thin Guy/Gal must be Solus.
I'd guess Speedball as the Mini-Con Prime cause he's a bit smaller and the energy ball might be a not to their power-up abilities.

I doubt Smokey is The Fallen.
In the second shot, that Walky didn't post, it shows that he has a really weird body structure.

I'm really interested in finding out out who "Speedball" is, and whoever it was wielding Animated Magnus's hammer.

Ah. The guy with the cape is Vector Prime, who at BotCon's presentation had a starry cape he seemed to kind of vanish into. I thought the guy with the big bright dial on his chest was Vector Prime, but that must be Alpha Trion.

More thoughts looking at Walky's Third pic...

1) Wow that's an impressively Creepy image!

2) So that's "Loki" at the back and Prima ordering them forward with the Star Saber sword...

3) Wow, monstrous THING, ah, and the one I called "Square Head" looks to be Vector Prime, ok.

4) Spikey headed robe dude looks less feminine/Maleficent-esque and more almost Cthulhuish octopusy here.

5) even more convinced the Energon Speedball is the Mini-Con Prime.

6) I think that HAS to be Solus with the hammer. And she does seem to have hair...

The only thing that keeps running through my mind is "With these designs I REALLY doubt we'll be getting toys of these guys anytime soon."
I guess you could say the same for a good portion of the main cast, but at least they have alt mode kibble.

Weird major appearence change if so. I'm fine with it, just not having seen the Botcon pics I too thought the dial must have been Vector. Maybe they had Fun Pub Alpha Trion in their heads and only wanted one bot to have that body type.

And I suspected that "Loki" might be the Liege Maximo, something seemed appropriate there, but the change in general build from his G2 look made me unsure.


-ZacWilliam, would be very surprised if "Speedball" wasn't the Mini-Con, "Bulky" Nexus, and Hammer-Girl Solus though....

And that's really frustrating to someone who's trying to build a The 13 collection.
I feel weird saying this, but I'd settle for non-transforming action figures.

Megatron's talk with Unicron seemed kind of Exodus-y, and I'm not talking about the Transformers book.

Yeah this episode was awesome, had some really well done drama scenes that made this guy here flat out shiver. The heartbeat scene was very well done.

I loved to see Megatron trying the groveling game and getting kicked in the face for it, he spent the whole show so far with that mighty untouchable vibe, and now during his biggest victory... he is denied.

I dunno, the Fallen might actually not be present there.
He may have already switched sides by this point in the Chaoskampf.


Also the "Archangel" and the Centaur are in fact the same guy. You can see it in the battle sequence, and the group shot just before the scene changes.

THIS EPISODE.

I've got to admit, I was skeptical as hell when they pulled Unicron out this early. I mean, he's the TF:TM series ender. You bring him out this soon, and then what?

But man, this is an incredibly fresh take on Unicron. He IS EARTH? Humans are UNICRONS PRODGENY? That's awesome. And Unicron was pulled off well - we may not get a big planet eating deathball, but the rock form works and is very creepy. Nice voice too - that was John Noble, AKA Denethor from Lord of the Rings. Hells yeah!

And OMG THE 13! I suppose it's too much to hope for toys.

It wasn't quite as awesome as One Shall Fall, but it was a damn fine followup. If parts 2 and 3 are half as good, than Prime's redeemed itself fully in my eyes.

Ok, I numbered Walky's lineup because the nicknames just aren't working for me. I can't figure out them surrounding the circle too well, so here's the first two images.

Now a couple of those on the bottom I was unsure about (hence the ? marks), but here's who I can guesstify.

1: Walky says 1 (in the bottom image) is Vector Prime
2: Nexus Prime perhaps? But he looks kinda like Soundwave, so perhaps he's Logos Prime?
3: MINICON
5: Walky says Megatronus. He's seen the Botcon pics and I haven't, but I want to point out that there's only 12 Prime's pictured (if you count that corner shoulderpiece sticking out on the end that I've numbered '12' - it's possible he's already become the Fallen.
6: Prima
7: Walky says Alpha Trion. I can buy it.
9: He's a Seeker. Calling it now!
10: Liege Maximo
11: Beasty. Who wants to bet he'll be named Scourge?
12: The one I labeled 12(?) has to be Solus Prime. She's got a hammer.

What say you? Anyone want to try tackling the circle?

Screw world building, Hasbro really is out to rebuild the mythos into so much more than just fighting robots.
I really enjoyed the last few episodes and that surprises me seeing as I've been so bored with the series. Not just because big tings are happening but things have been intriguing as well. It's also nice to see Op with SOME form of emotion.

I can't wait for more.
