Deliberately made brighter blues, including my best approximation of AllSpark Blue. The "ribcage" details are AS Blue too, but it's not really visible here. Faceplate remolded with Apoxie Clay.

Never thought of using any movie Bumblebee as Nightracer... Looks good!

I wonder how it would look on the deluxe mold.... Mind if I try it? (I think I got the hang of customizing now!)

I have no objections, it's not my character. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) The 2008 Stealth Bumblebee might be the best base, since it's already got some of the blue bits, IIRC.

No, while the toy as produced has all that neon yellow, it was ordered as dark blue. This was before BotCon could actually specify mold colors and get them made...Hasbro just grabbed the Bumblebee mold and colors as being closest and left off the gold paint. Neon yellow swapped to dark blue is how Nightracer was supposed to look.

I think it had more to do with the fact that the Go-Bots are all gang-molded. Nightracer couldn't have been blue without leaving a whole bunch of extra plastic laying around - assuming they couldn't gate off the mold.
