The way the twitter feed said it would work was that they could order to demand to some degree, but that their order deadline would be up before the preorder month was.

So if you get in early, you're pretty much guaranteed. If you wait a few weeks, you have to hope they didn't under-order.

I wonder if they're ordering it through Fun Pub or getting it through a source that's getting it through eHOBBY.

That is great! Didn't think I'd be excited about him (being just white and yellow) but that's pretty great.

The Rewind/Eject mold probably pull the translucent colors off better than the Frenzy/Rumble mold would, since the legs aren't split between two colors.

So weird, BBTS has sold over 100 of these bad-boys already. Do people really not want to join the club that much?
I suppose it works out to be about the same money: membership plus figure set plus shipping is 250 bucks.

I know there was a point my brothers wanted Runamuck and it took every ounce of my power to convince them to sign up and save some money rather than buying him second hand and paying more - just because they didn't want to deal with the hassle of joining the club and getting the emails / newsletters.

"Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." -- C.S. Lewis

I pre-ordered from BBTS, just in case I can't swing the 200+ bucks by the deadline, this month has been rough on my TF budget.

Somebody sell me Solarbot for less than the cost of the entire set, please.

This fandom needs more people who care exclusively about Shattered Glass.

I was getting this just for SG Soundwave and Batbot. Don't really care about the rest (but not breaking up an exclusive set, sorry). But Solarbot IS really nice!

They're all really great color schemes on the tapes. It's just a dang nifty set.

I'm sure that's partly the case (there's still a LOT of club-hate just from the credit card fiasco earlier this year, let alone for other reasons... which have always existed, let's be honest), but I don't think people realize that they're STILL supporting the club by ordering from BBTS, especially at this early stage of the game before FunPub has determined exactly how many they'll be getting from e-HOBBY.

The thing that mystifies me are the people that are saying "I can't trust the club anymore, I'M ORDERING THIS FROM TFSOURCE."

Yeah the colors are really great on these figures and I hope any future endeavors like this really take advantage of new and different colors on the characters.
