Seems we're not the only ones worried about Haywire not fitting into Blurr's hands. About 3 quarters of the way down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

I wonder how hard it would be to design a peg adapter and put it through Shapeways. ...for someone who has some ability to do 3D modeling, I mean.

Pretty hard I imagine.
I'm hoping Takara realizes this. The last Figure King shows Haywire (in his old colors) attached via the rear peg on WFC Optimus' back kibble. Randy (IMG:http://www.allspark.com/albums/Figure_King_No_154/fk_134.jpg) -------------------- ![]() |

I quite like how the WFC Megatron looks there. Much more interesting than the Hasbro version.

That's the Megatron that lives in a smoking household.

Yeah he looks neat. The Hasbro one is like how he was when he was first assembled and the Takara one is like how he is after fighting for years and years.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) http://www.tf-bbs.com/armada/tfbbs.cgi?mod...tml&no=3765 Easy solution - instead of the Drift remold who looks nothing like G1 Blurr, use the Cybertron Blurr who is a much better proxy, AND has Minicon Ports. I like these Minicons, but won't be buying them since I already have them. It'll be easier for me to repaint them myself, since I hate the clear plastic anyway. Not sure if it was linked yet, but on the official Takara site, they show the rocket launcher minicon repaint with a red face, and the machine-gun armed one with silver face, in more G1 accurate colors. Cybertron Blurr can't hold Caliburste/Haywire as a gun and is a pretty jivey figure by today's standards. He was pretty jivey back during Cybertron too, before the string of more complex and better quality figures too.

Easy solution - instead of the Drift remold who looks nothing like G1 Blurr, Actually, he's a great representation of the IDW G1 Blurr, which is exactly the intent.QUOTE use the Cybertron Blurr who is a much better proxy, Except for... everything below the neck...QUOTE AND has Minicon Ports. Not on his hands, so he can't hold a Targetmaster partner any better than his Generations counterpart (and the oddly-shaped hands mean that isn't likely to change). |
