Oh, that makes sense, next time I should pay better attention. Also, nice job with Dash's pretend sleep face. Did you have any part in this episode? If yes, please explain. Sure, my parts in the episode: -Beginning sequence before the OP credits. -Some of the jungle cat stuff with the chase and jump across the gorge. -The part after Daring Do takes the statue where the temple starts to collapse with lava everywhere. -A few of the scenes with Daring tied up after the trap wall and sand are activated. I didn't get any of the hospital stuff. |

Speaking of that opening scene, we can add "able to turn her neck 360 degrees" to Pinkie's list of superpowers.

Nayuki, would it be at all possible to reveal what Dash's bedspread design looks like without her obscuring part of it?

Whoa, whoa, whoa, back this wagon up.
Celestia/Luna/Zecora/BigMac/other male ponies. Is there something about Alicorns and Zebras in this story that we're missing? -------------------- |

So... am I the only one who wants a spin off series of Daring Doo narrated by Rainbow Dash? Nope, chalk me up to that board as well. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) -------------------- The de-evolution of Optimus Prime:

Daring Doo definitely was a fun bit that I'd like to see more of... Although the character would definitely need fleshing out to hold up a narrative. And something to distinguish her from Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, other than being a pony.
As for the minor question regarding why this crash managed to hurt Rainbow Dash: Going by the head movements of the others, she seemed to go down spinning, so the best explanation would be that she got her wing caught on something. That kind of thing has got to do some damage! Also, good call NOT to show exactly what happened. Really made that scene go down a lot easier. -------------------- |

From a structural standpoint, how can molten lava remain that potent or for that matter how can a collapsible floor endure those temperatures for so long? And don't tell me it is because it is a fictional story in a children's cartoon, cause that will just make my mind leap out of my head and explode on my face!

Yeah, the lava bugged me a bit too. But on this kind of show, "magic lava" is a plausible answer.

Apparently the working title for this episode was... Reading Rainbow.
QUOTE I have seen a lot of funny fandom comments about how the title should have been "Reading Rainbow". Apparently that actually WAS the working title early on--don't know why they didn't keep it but I assume it has something to do with the rights to the actual show.* MutatingRaven's deviantArt (storyboard artist for the show) -------------------- |

Yes, the impractical use of lava does bother me, but ceiling gators? Seems legit, nothing questionable about that logic.
