I love that throughout all of this there's still a BBTS banner add saying "TF Prime First Edition For Sale."

Well they do still have the first set of deluxes available.

So the RiD Cliffjumper (who is the best version of Prime CLiffjumper, IMO) says "Series 2" on the packaging. I thought he was in the first wave and all that.

What was Series 1?

Wave 1 - Soundwave WJ BB CJ

Wave 2 - Ratchet Arcee BB CJ

Cliffjumper in both waves? Weird. Need to get a Wheeljack if he's only in wave 1.

Should be hopefully not too difficult for you. Wheeljack is two per case, unlike Soundwave 1 per case (but Soundwave may be in wave 3? I forget now).

There were wave breakdowns from robotkingdom linked in one of these threads...

Offhand, I'd say First Edition.

But Prime Cyberverse is also calling itself Series 2 (with DOTM being Series 1), so it might be the DOTM line.

Well, it's a lot of toys, 9, in 3 waves, so you're gonna have a lot of 2 and 1s. 3 Bumblebee's in Wave 2 is crazy though. I would think 2 Ratchets, 2 Arcees, as they're the new molds that wave. I guess Hasbro still thinks that even though Arcee is a major character on the show she won't sell as well as Bumblebee.

It's aggravating, if accurate. I try not to be one of those guys who constantly bitches about Hasbro making too many Bumblebees and Primes, but that sounds like a breakdown one of them would come up with as a joke.

Hasbro did that with Animated Ratchet and Blackarachnia...and I remember seeing them linger on shelves for months, especially Ratchet.

I would like to think I don't go on complaining about Bumblebees, but let me go on the record now as saying there are too many Bumblebees. Okay, I'm done now.

There's basically never BEEN a Blackarachnia toy that didn't pegwarm. Except TM2, because a) she wasn't on pegs and b) her assortment was never common to begin with.

I only saw the original Beast Wars toy once. She and Tigatron were hella rare around here.

That whole redeco wave was easy to find both in SE and NW Michigan for at least a year or two. As compared to Lazorbeak, who I saw (two of) once at the TRU I worked at that summer.

Ah now those were the good ole simple days of TF collecting. To go back to them. Sigh... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

I think I liked it better when we found out about canceled things after they were already canceled.

OhcrapIamsostupid.

I messed up and forgot a word in that last questioning post. I meant to ask:

So the RiD Cyberverse Legion Cliffjumper (who is the best version of Prime CLiffjumper, IMO) says "Series 2" on the packaging. I thought he was in the first wave and all that.

Sorry about that. Anyway, what was Series 1 of the Cyberverse Legion Class?

I got my TakaraTomy FE Vehicon and Cliffjumper today. They're pretty nice, CJ especially (who is a pain, well both of them are, to transform). Also the Vehicon was very mistransformed in his packaging.
