I was thinking Prime's "death" would be more figurative...just that the Autobots are moving on without him. Looks like he might've actually died, only for a few weeks, but enough to let that happen. Makes sense.

Also digging G2 Sideswipe.

G2 Sideswipe is kinda exciting but why is Sideswipe suddenly a total jackass? IDW's Sideswipe never really seemed like that kind of bot before... more of burning justice/got-to-prove-himself type. Now he's hanging out with Whirl and being a total prick (obviously Whirl is a horrible influence....)

Also I like how SS' new color scheme implies that after all that stuff the Autobots went through, and all their new problems, he found the time to give himself a totally new paint job. ( > u < )
Seems more like something up Sunstreaker's alley, lol. (or Hauler really...)

I have read this and it is great. And Metalhawk is FAR from the most obscure Japanese character to appear. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

If Metalhawk is in it, does that mean Ginrai and Giga and Mega and Shuta and Clouder and Cancer might make an appearance?

I find cross continuities confusing sometimes.

I love this thing.

Huh. I remember hearing that as a radio spot. Didn't know there was video for it.

Yeah, this was pretty bloody great. Ratbat's spiel cracked me up, as did Prime's response to "STFU".

Yep, great read through and through.

See? THIS is how you do an issue with little action (meaning little action aside from the altercation with the protest and Prowl's "solution"). The dialogue here means something. And we didn't really need a douchebag Spike.

Plus, Swindle's only line cracks me up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

I almost wasn't going to get this, figuring I'd just wait for the new #1s next month, but I'm glad the preview caught my eye. Good read, and the ending was nicely done. It sets up the new series pretty well too.

Definitely a good sign of things to come. Here's looking forward to the new ongoings in a couple weeks' time.

Wow that was great. Really in depth. I'm tempted to read the Drift mini since it was mentioned in this issue.

Wonder how much of the issue was Barber and how much was Roberts.

Really enjoyed Nick's art (more than usual)

Guess I should probably pick up Chaos Theory and give that a read too.

Also, thanks IDW for putting out the digital copy so quickly.

Roll on January

Man, that was dense. It's way more easy to wikify Costa issues.

I don't like to harp on Costa constantly, but in all seriousness, under him, a story this eventful would have been a six-issue mini-series.
