Cheets or another mod, can you maybe update the first post with specific details about what the exclusives are? I know there is a Bruticus but isn't there also a Shockwave HISS tank and maybe more? Oh yeah Zombie Cliffjumper.

There's a thread with all the exclusives listed here already: http://www.allspark.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87126

That is good. However if this is THE EXCLUSIVES THREAD!! they should be here also.

The only Transformers SDCC exclusives I'm really interested in are Shockwave HISS and Rust in Peace Cliffjumper.

I'll skip Bruticus and just get the retail version when it shows up. G.I. exclusives this year is what I really want from SDCC, I really hope I can get a hold of both Jinx figures on HTS.

If bruticus comes in under $70, I'm there.

I would think Bruticus would be $70 or less, but I'm not usually a good judge of these things.

(Thank you for the edit, Cheets)

Well, a retail box set would be at least $40-50, and adding in the super-deluxe packaging would probably bump it another $10-20, then you have the exclusivity so $70-90 would likely be a good guess for the price range, although I wouldn't be surprised at $100.

Sheesh, they would move up SDCC while I'm frantically trying to get a job. At the very least, I badly want Rust in Peace Cliffjumper. If it does turn out that there's just no way in hell that I can get SDCC's version of Bruticus, then I really do hope some retailer gets a Ruination version of him. That's really the only other version I'd be interested enough in to cough up the cash for it. And with the Collector's Club coming out with Scourge, they'd look really nice, displayed together.

Should SDCC news and stuff be discussed here too? Apologies if not.

So what sort of stuff do you expect to see or hope to see come out of SDCC?

Does SDCC normally have one of those Hasbro presentations at which no photos are allowed (like BotCon does)?

I'm very interested to see upcoming photos then, though there's not any specific thing or category I want to see. I just really like the news.

Well, unless they up their game from Botcon, the only new things to show will be thundertron and legion Airachnid.

Since time is linear, they'll have three months of progress on product to update folks on.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure time is circular. I look forward to the new Diaclone and Microman toys sure to be previewed.

-ZacWilliam, Unless we're circling around to pre-plastic in which case the new woodbots and tincons will be the talk of ye illustrated periodical fairie.

Time is both linear and circular. Sadly the loop we are in does not seem to reach as far back as Diaclone. It only reaches G1 stuff and we already passed that point on the time line and heading for the G2 revival I foretold some time ago.

At the very least you have to assume that they won't waste half their time talking about the ride or the SDCC packaging design since both will be out by then.
