Though "We are living in the Yellowpages" might make a good ad campaign for them.

Even better would be a yellowpages ad set to the Discovery Channel song.

Suck it up, walk it off, and don't whine.

Everybody in the house has a drawer with several "friendless" socks in it. Eah time I do the laundry and find a lonely sock I say "Aww, you lost your friend didn't you?" and I gently fold it and place it in the drawer hoping it finds a new "friend." After awhile they make "friends" with the other abandoned socks and become a new mismatched couple. No one notices that they aren't the same. We're all just happy to see our socks have "friends" again. Give it a try, your socks can make new "friends" too. I've noticed the red and blue socks make the best "friends". ~ jnmcksmom, WPLH

I have variant versions of the song that might make decent ringtones if I can figure out how to get them to my phone (it doesn't seem to accept USB data transfer like I thought it would); I'm not sure. There's a rock version, a disco version, an orchestral version, and a country version.

EDIT: On the other hand, they might be a bit long… each is 31 seconds. I don't know how these things usually go.

Internet Jesus, you are a genius.

(Also RGS, would you mind sharing all those alternate versions? Or pointing out where I can find them?)

This is what we're awarding genius status for these days? Isaac Newton, Isaac Hayes, Isaac Brock, and Isaac Isaacs would be ashamed.

Nah, not just for this, IJ has a precedence for genius like this.

It's just putting transformers related words into Yellow Submarine in a way that generally fits the rhyme and meter of the song. Good for a mild chuckle, not genius.

They were up on Discovery's website for a while as part of a contest to make your own version of the Boom-De-Yada song, but I don't know if they're still there or where to find them. Since they were made publicly available, I trust it's okay to share them.

Orchestral version
Disco version
