Probably a dumb question but if the Wed package pickup is at 9:00PM how do they handle the custom class at 9:00AM?

I know this is me specific, but I'm more concerned about MSTF starting at 9 and late pickup starting at 9:30. I'm planning to drive down early Friday morning, and thought I'd be able to arrive for the panel, but it sounds like I won't even be able to check in until the panel is a half hour in.
