Just finished sculpting this fun little side project. After hanging around this forum for over a year now, I wanted to sculpt somthing TF-related, and RotF Reverb seemed like a good victim. His deco is already a homage to Inferno, and now he can burn rubber as well as maximals!

I used the Beast Wars-cartoon head as reference, but with a lot of leeway. I made the head sleeker and left out the mandibles at the side of his head, both to match the alt-mode better, and to allow the head to fit into the vehicle mode cavity.
Itīs not painted yet, some of the putty still has to cure completely before I take a brush to it.

Thanks, but Iīm afraid there are no plans to cast this head. This is more of a "proof of concept", something to point to as an example, when people ask me for commissions (*hint hint*).

Iīd be happy to part with the figure, though.

The mold really doesnīt. But If I did things right, the head should yell all the louder (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

My thought process was not "hey, this toy looks like Inferno!", but rather "I want to try and sculpt a head, which one of the few toys I have would I not mind potentially ruining?"

the wheels up top really sell the "yeah this is six-legged ant inferno" I think the only other paint I'd add though would be Black along the edges of the arms and legs

I did not intend to do any more with this figure. But then you come along, with good ideas and whatnot, and I end up fiddling with the figure again.

I donīt have any faction symbol stickers, so I sculpted a Predacon symbol onto his chest. The color needs to pop some more, any ideas?

And besides the awesome idea of painting in the insect legs (genius, I tell you!), I also painted his weapon, the fingers on his left hand, and I touched up the headlights, where the factory-paint was already chipped.
