Tried this. You can try a middleman service to get this from japan. unfortunately the price is already 40 bucks usd and then you still have to pay shipping and service fee. Probably run you close to 70-80 bucks. Just thought you might want to try. |

Thank you very much. When you say 70-80, do you mean total for the figure with shipping? If so, that would be fine. Also, do you have any idea how to translate that page? I tried running it through Babelfish from Japanese to English, and all it does is bring me to the front page of Yahoo Japan. If not, I'll see what else I can do. But again, I really appreciate your help.

Did you get any further with this? I had some success this way last year when I picked up some Armada-era exclusive mini-cons (the TRU-exclusive Land Military redeco) using Rinkya, as recommended by someone on this forum.
Their various fees do sting a bit, but the service is good. I made it a bit more worth it by packing out the order with some sub-¥1000 (some fees are waived) Japanese BW figures. Good luck getting the mini-con. Your persistence has almost moved me to consider parting with mine! Almost... -------------------- Twitter: http://twitter.com/kinjacono

Actually, I might have some luck. Fingers crossed and all. I paid an initial payment for the minicon, and they purchased it off Yahoo Japan. Once they have it in hand, they are supposed to contact me with a shipping quote depending on how I want it sent. Then it should be mine. I don't mind the fees as long as the ordeal of searching for it will be over.
Too bad I couldn't have moved you to selling before. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) I'll let you know if everything works out. Did you get any further with this? Thanks to dragon516, the end could be in sight.
I contacted the middleman, paid, and they bought the figure off of Yahoo Auctions Japan for me. It shipped yesterday via EMS from Japan and should be here in 5-7 days, customs being nice and all. Then I will update once it is in hand. Thanks to everyone. I'll update when the saga comes to a close. I'm pulling for you, too, man. Let your Recoil Saga come to an end with a smashing success. |

Today, on the 8th of Feb. my quest has come to an end. Shipped by EMS on the 6th, that's right, holy crap, from Japan just 2 days ago to New York, my package has come. The grail has been achieved, and the curtain has closed. Thanks again to Dragon516 for your help, and I would recommend the middleman service I used to anyone who asked. Before I go, one last thing...

And on this day, Figureguy rested. In Recoil's name, amen.
Congrats, man. |

You are welcome. I am glad everything worked out. I have scored my Steppers through this guy at a slightly lower rate than BBTS. 200 for 2 Stepper and the Generations magazine shipped to my door from Japan. Not too bad.

In the end, I ended up paying $70, which was $110 less than the one on Ebay. I have looked and never seen another available any where. Without your help I would have either overpaid or gone crazier trying to find one. Your price for the Steppers was not bad at all. Thanks so much. I also emailed them to let them know how happy I was, and that if I ever needed to I definitely would use their service again.
