Thundertron looks pretty spiffy to me sculpt-wise, but like before, the pristine-white look doesn't seem to match his 'pirate' status. If you compare the pre-production sample that was on display at SDCC with the Thundertron in these photos, they changed a sprue of white/light gray plastic to be blue. Look at the biceps, stomach and feet. It also looks like the thighs and hands went from white/light gray to a darker gray.
They really ought not have done that. The white/light gray looked far better. (Although the side effect of that is that it's now a blue lion with a white head rather than a white lion with blue armor so... Thanks Leo Prime?) This post has been edited by NightViper: Sep 13 2012, 04:05 AM
