I forsee a lot of complaints that Hasbro isn't making this repaint in the main line. It seems like an obvious repaint choice from Hasbro. Plus this means the club is making three recolors of this mold (SG Magnus, SG Optimus and RiD Scourge), which is a lot of repaints for a not-Seeker mold.

At this point, I'm really, really over "Evil Optimus" repaints. Even with a new head.

So long as Hasbro does some kind of Nemesis Prime (even/especially with Crystal Skull), I'll be ok. It's not like a hasbro release was going specifically be Scourge/have the upside-down G2 logo anyway.

Saw this on tfw2005. Pics will come Saturday. Scourge will be a repaint of Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime obviously. You obviously don't follow our Twitter (I tweeted it 3 hours ago) or looked a the other thread where I mentioned it. http://twitter.com/AllsparkNews/status/195948615187963904 -------------------- ![]() |

It stands to reason that whatever hasbro has planned for the RTS Laser Prime mold includes the skeletor head, So Id rather my Scourge have a prime head.
I hear a lot of chatter of people thinking that Scourge will be the freebie, on account that this is the clubs way of apologising to the members for the CC snafu. I, however belive it will not be the freebie, and will be one of the ones we buy. Simply because A: Those of us who want it (me included) are more than willing to pay through the nose to get it, and B: We've seen what may very well be packaging art. |

Considering how much of a fan favorite he is I think they wouldn't have any trouble with him selling out. Personally, I'm still waiting for the G2 Ultra Magnus version of the mold. Auuuugh, I really didn't want to have to pay over 50 bucks for this... Same here. By way of comparison, I paid $40 for my textbook for next semester. Yeah - I'm just buying a Prime off of E-Bay and introducing it to that giant bottle of black paint I bought but never got around to using.* It'd be a heck of a lot cheaper, and I wouldn't have to go to the hassle of trying to get a pre-paid credit card just to register and pay for everything. *I got a Microman Kicker, and wanted a Misha to go with him. My original plan called for me to purchase a Microman Rei Ayanami School Outfit figure (the vendors I was going through at the time couldn't get rid of her) and paint her up like Misha in her lab attire, but Smalljoes.com found a Microman Acro Elsa in its inventory and I was able to snag it. I just say that Misha's got her own armor now. -------------------- Lexicon: still up and running!

I agree with others, I want him, but not $50 want. Especially with a mold I don't really like and I still have the original RiD release.

I too can live without this, original Scourge is a far superior mold compared to this puny little thing.

If RID Scourge is the incentive freebie, then I'm selling him.
If he's one of the guys that's being sold through the club store next year, then that's fine and excellent. But I won't be getting him. -------------------- William Rendfeld
