Jeff Kline: Executive Producer/Co-Developer: The writing teams on both TRANSFORMERS PRIME and G.I. JOE RENEGADES operated on parallel, but completely separate, development tracks. And in both cases, the “deaths” ultimately proved an effective way to upend expectations, heighten stakes, motivate our heroes, and announce to the world that neither series was of the ‘80s – when (cartoon) violence rarely led to life-changing consequence.
